Aqua Blackheath

Large party affected the entire evening. Over an hour for food to arrive and when it did was overcooked. Paid for drinks and ate elsewhere

The food was poor - fish overcooked, tasteless, poorly presented and with very mediocre accompaniment. Service was attentive but very slapdash and not at all respires suce to concerns over food. The restaurant was also very noisy and rowdy. Not a good experience.

Went to Aqua for NYE, expecting just a nice local dinner, but it was so much more. With a great set menu, great service and a fab DJ, we ended up staying and it was the perfect way to ring in the new year. Will be back very soon

When booking online for NYE we wasn’t told about having to pay the service charge.Also the menue was different when we arrived compared to a different one online at the time of booking.When we arrived the food was coming too fast and felt like we were being rushed.When it did arrive it was very small portions and wasn’t very hot and most Definately not worth the money.They also ran out of bread.We could of gone to one of Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants which would of cost only a little bit more.So overall it was a very disappointing experience!

I love Aqua but Christmas Day wasn’t great.
Think they needed more staff.

Very nice food. Good value for money on the Christmas set menu. A good variety of choices to choose from. Portions were reasonable. I definitely recommend and would visit again.

We had a lovely family get together on Sunday and was so impressed that the set menu was still being offered at the same great price so close to Christmas- well done. My only gripe would be that my lamb was slightly fatty and only the beef came with wonderful Yorkshire’s as tradition would dictate, but everyone having a roast would have liked one. I’m never disappointed on a visit to either Blackheath or Bromley.

Aqua is a preferred restaurant of choice for myself and family, so we booked to return for a family Christmas meal.
I'm not sure if it's because we are at a busy time of the year or they were under staffed but we all left unsatisfied with our evening.
We had to wait a long time for drink orders to come over and the manager was rude. I think he ruined it the most for us! Our waiter tried his hardest. But we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

I have been coming here for a number of years . Each time the food cocktails and staff are excellent. Which is why I do come back often !

Friendly welcoming staff, couldn’t do enough for you, food delicious, first time I’ve been, but will definitely be going again, very soon

All was good until the bill
I ordered a brownie Sunday which came as a brownie with ice cream
I didn’t think anything of It until the bill came & they charged us 5.75 for the desert
They had given me the wrong desert & charged us extra & would not take the extra 3.75 off the bill
Not a lot I know but was not our mistake !!!!

We had a date night everything was perfect staff were friendly and very helpful and the food was to die for.

Four of us went last night for my birthday, staff are all lovely, so helpful and friendly. Food was delicious! Will definitely be going back! Photo is of my husband’s mixed grill.

Far to rushed, they want you in and out as soon as possible, no personal touch, awful table position, all restaurants have to do better with tables for 2. Stop squashing people in to small spaces on top on stairs . Shame as the food although rushed was very good, the other staff are letting the chef down.

We were given a free glass of champagne as it was our wedding anniversary. Everything was brilliant from the staff to the food

Service was good, a long wait time initially for my 11 guests but it improved after we spoke to the Manager. The cocktails were good, the food was exceptional. I would definitely recommend Aqua Restaurant.

We were a party of 6 celebrating our daughters 30th birthday. The ambience was perfect and the food in general was good. Good choice and lovely selection of cocktails. Everybody enjoyed their food with the exception of myself. I ordered sirloin steak and could not eat one piece of it as it was completely full of fat. Very disappointing. I told the waiter and he didn’t do anything about it. My starter was lovely though and we would go back. I’ll just avoid the steak next time

We had not eaten in Aqua before and I understand there is a new chef. Without exception the four of us all enjoyed our meal there and we will definitely go back. From the regular menu Prawns in garlic were absolutely delicious, meatballs great and both seafood pasta dishes were enjoyed with gusto. The steak main course from the set menu was nicely cooked with a lovely peppercorn sauce and crispy chips.

Had a great relaxing Saturday lunch with friends. The food was great and the set menu was particularly good value. They do the best Espresso Martinis in London!

Met with a friend for a catch up. The restaurant is beautifully finished and the ambience is warm. Staff were friendly and helpful but not too overbearing. Food was tasty and well presented.

Really great food, generous portions really full of flavour. Would definitely recommend.
