A modern take on the classic American steakhouse, Arroyo Chop House is one of only a few restaurants in Southern California that serves exclusively USDA Prime beef. This strikingly handsome restaurant, inspired by the Arts & Crafts architectural style for which Pasadena is famous, is clad in rich mahogany and the cozy booths are bathed in seductive light.

Our steaks are aged and hand cut daily and then perfectly seared in a 1,500 degree oven. Traditional steakhouse side dishes include creamed spinach, baked potatoes, asparagus spears with hollandaise sauce, and Arroyo Chop House's famous onion rings. We also offer live Maine lobster and fresh fish, Alaskan King Crab legs, fresh oysters, and shrimp. Compliment your meal with a bottle from our award-winning wine list and finish the night with one of our delicious desserts such as a Grand Marnier soufflé, warm apple pie, butterscotch pudding or chocolate pecan pie.

The New York charred steak was amazing. The lobster mashed potatoes, incredible. The staff was attentive, friendly, and informative. We were seated in an area off the main dining room that was like an annex. Because it's so close to the road, noise from passing trucks and motorcycles could be deafening at times and detracted from what should have been a perfect dining experience. Seating in the main dining area is a much preferred.

I've been here numerous times. This time the food took MUCH longer to come out and we were starving, about 45 minutes. Food tasted great. Servers were nice. But we were getting hangry and the very long wait spoiled a special evening.

Everything about our experience was exceptional last night. It was our anniversary and the hostess greeted us with a lovely hand written note. Our server Lauren was AMAZING! Food was excellent! All the other staff members were very attentive! Thank You for making our night so special!

I have been to Arroyo Chophouse many times before and since it’s been awhile thought I will visit but this time it was disappointing. Ribeye steak was not seasoned- bland like cook didn’t bother to put salt at least while cooking and I have to say steak was on the tough side. Even customers near my table were complaining about their steak. Scalloped potatoes tasted a little sour for my taste. Won’t be back. Otherwise, everything else we ordered was fine.

I’m not much of a steak person, but this is my second visit to Arroyo Chop House in less than a year. I love ACH, the food is excellent and the service is amazing — so kind! Looking forward to more dinners here
