   Seat was spacious as requested, staff very friendly. Food was tasty and plenty of it. But it was very hot in the restaurant with no air flow or breeze …this made it quite uncomfortable to sit and eat. Would visit again but prefer it was cooler

   Disappointed after this visit and won’t be returning. Food no where near what it was, President Platter is 30% of what it used to be. Extra prawn dish, very few prawns. This restaurant is going backwards and we won’t be rushing back. Shame, we bring high customer groups.

   Went to Manchester for a concert we live in Leicester and had heard good things about Asha’s in Birmingham so chose the Manchester one for dinner Absolutely best Indian food I’ve ever had it was amazing place was gorgeous staff were second to none Would recommend to anyone that goes to manchester best meal I’ve had in a long time

    Loved the quiet ambiance and excellent service. We had the taster dishes each accompanied by wine to compliment each dish. The food was delicious with suitable amount of time between each course. As we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, we were also served a complimentary cheese cake. Would certainly recommend this restaurant.

    Celebrating a special anniversary we chose Asha’s Manchester as it’s proximity to our hotel was ideal. From the smiling, warm and friendly welcome we had on entering the restaurant to the delicious food on offer and the attentive service, everything was top-notch.     Unlike previously there is no one to greet you at the main door. A sign invites you to climb the stairs to the restaurant. After waiting to be seen longer than was ideal we were taken to our table. As a party of five were were given a very nice large round table with cushion seating. Free water was offered and then drinks order taken. Once the drinks arrived we had to remind them to bring the water. Food order was taken and the starters quickly arrived. These were off the Pre theatre menu and were delicious. There was then quite a long wait for the main course, Despite it being a Tuesday the restaurant was busy so I can forgive the wait. What cannot be so easily forgiven that 1 main dish and 2 side dishes( from the ale cart menu) were forgotten when the food was brought over. In fact the main dish arrived so late that several of our party had already finished their main. As way of apology the cost was removed from the bill which was a nice touch. I had Lamb Rogan Josh which was delicious. Deserts were ordered and were very tasty though a little small off the set menu but larger off the main menu. This was my third visit to Ashas and the food was delicious and the Pre Theatre set menu is great value, the main menu I feel is a bit expensive in comparison. The ambiance is delightful though a long walk downstairs if the toilet is needed. The staff were very pleasant but I feel more are needed to fore fill the level of service the price demands. I would definitely visit again if the set menu continues.

    Really lovely, fragrant food. We were really disappointed with the service. We had to ask for tap water five times. We also asked for a portion of poppadoms that never came. Not sure how that happened as it was on the bill! The food was delicious but I think we would have liked better service.

    We went to Ashas as we had a gift of the tasting menu with wine flight. The food was fabulous with lovely flavours and although smaller portions from the main menu, by the time we had finished 6 courses we were nicely full. The wine flights were also nice with 4 white, 1 red and a rose and all perfectly drinkable. We will come back again but next time we would have from the main menu as we would like to choose our food. Staff were all very pleasant and nice surroundings.
