    Of the Buckhead Life restaurant group this is our least favorite. Almost always loud. Food was fair. This time too salty. Bread just fair. Crab cakes a bit too spicy. Mussels just fair. Caesar salad ok. Sea bass good.

    We celebrated a 7 year old's birthday dinner here. It was great. The fish Market knew it was her birthday and had a special slice of chocolate pie/cake with a candle for her dessert. The wait staff was great with her and made sure she had bread to eat while we waited for our food.

    Our server, Richard, was knowledgeable, fun, lighthearted, and went out of his way to make sure my birthday dinner was superb. The food was, of course, outstanding.

    I just wanted a fresh piece of fish and vegetable. Admittedly had not been there in probably 6 years but cannot believe how bad the food was. Salmon was fine but coated in butter instead of just sautéed in olive oil and lemon. The broccoli was badly steamed - no oil or oil lemon again. One of my companions got the Asian sea bass, which was delicious a long time ago-light soy vinaigrette with bok choy. This looked like a blob of maybe steamed sickly looking fish in a sticky cheep teriyaki sauce. They said the rice was even poorly cooked. And mind you this was for $42. This whole experience felt like we were in some cheap chain seafood restaurant at the beach. Sadly disappointed and will not be back (other than to pick up fish right after it is delivered).

    I wish we were told when we made our reservation that we would not be sitting in the actual restaurant but instead back in the corner behind the bar. So our fine dining experience turned out to be sitting in a booth behind the bar away from everything. That was not the experience we Intended to have we expected to have or wish we had had

    We were bledded with a great professional server in Sherry who presented the specials as we got settled, kept the pace od the meal well and we enjoyed taking my visiting daughter from new york to her first meal at Fish Market. She picked out some really plump oysters and her Branzino special was devine

    I’m in Atlanta on business and last evening when we were driving back to the hotel the giant fish caught our eye … well we had to come back for dinner the next evening and we had a great time. Service was fantastic- food was amazing when I’m back in Atlanta I will come back here!

    The food was pretty good. I had the sautéed scallops with whipped potatoes and vegetables. Scallops were cooked well but could have used a bit more seasoning. Potatoes were pretty good. Vegetables were ok; no seasoning on them though, so all you really got was some crunch... no taste. Waiter was nice but service was very slow even though there weren't many diners there at the time (11:30 AM lunch). We waited a while for him to even take our order.

    On Sunday, September 10, 2023, I had the pleasure of visiting the Atlanta Fish Market. Upon arriving at the parking lot, we were warmly greeted by the valet staff, all wearing smiles. Upon entering the establishment, we were met with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Our waiter exhibited exceptional knowledge of the entire menu and recommended delectable appetizers and main dishes. The pricing was notably reasonable. Our overall experience was truly outstanding, and we look forward to returning in the future.

    My boyfriend and I returned to Fish Market because my first experience five years ago was wonderful. Today's visit was disappointing. I ordered the cashew pepper swordfish and my boyfriend ordered the fried jumbo shrimp. The cashews (topping) were burned, And the swordfish was bland (i.e. the cut tasted like it had been soaking in water too long). My boyfriend commented that the jumbo shrimp were smaller than he expected, and they were overly greasy. We may try the restaurant again then after a while, but our second experience did not match/meet our first one.

    For the price, it was not worth it at all. Food is very bland. My red snapper was not fresh and the portions were for a child for that price! Very nice atmosphere and services were impeccable! Food needs seasoning a lot! Mash potatoes were soupy and tasted just like it came out of the little pouches you make at home.

    Food is excellent as always. Sad to see the qr code on tables for payment. It takes away from the top-notch service we've come to expect from afm. We were there in a slow time, so maybe they were shorter staffed, but drinks were also slow to be filled this time around Bathrooms were dirty, had obviously bot been cleaned, no soap in the womens, and smelled as if they had a sewage issue.

    Med well steak was cooked med rare - red cold center. Server kept forgetting things and could have done better. Food tasted good overall but service could have been better and manager should have come around to check on service/food.

    My husband and I enjoyed an early Sunday night dinner here when it wasn't too crowded. Our server Rudy was very attentive and sometimes "over the top" with up-selling, but we enjoyed his service. We started with a glass of wine each, and Rudy let me try a couple of chardonnays before I chose one. My husband liked his stuffed flounder and I enjoyed my king salmon, even though it was a very small portion compared to the last time we dined here.

    I have dined at Atlanta Fish Market (AFM) three or four times now and - while not bad - no visit has risen above the "just so-so" level on the food and overall experience scale. Each time, I chalk it up to, "maybe I just haven't found the right item to order." Service is okay, ambience is nothing special and not helped by the uninspired décor. I will keep going back in hopes of hitting paydirt one day. AFM possibly could benefit from a menu with fewer items.

    As always AFM is reliable and offers a great selection. All of the food was wonderful.3 of us split several appetizers. The ceviche was light and quite refreshing. I thought I was eating in the Caribbean. I cannot visit AFM without crab cakes. Awesome ! Our server was amazing. Personable, kind and great follow up. She is a great asset and I hope AFM knows how amazing she is. You do not find service like that easily these days.. We love all Buckhead Life restaurants. They always deliver quality to the table.
