A place my family and I come back to again and again for dinner and brunch. Love the vibes and the food and drinks. We got complimentary cheesecake for my friends bday at the brunch. Love this place and the staff!!

It's a good restaurant, but the ambience/seating is pretty unusual. The area by the window is truly uncomfortable - the heat lamps make it too hot and they can't turn them off individually. There's road noise from Woodward, and you feel you are sitting on a very narrow train. The food is good and the menu is interesting, which is why we will be back. But it's a much better experience in the other part of the restaurant.

Our waiter just never really came back after getting our food. One of us needed more butter because the pancakes were dry but the waiter never came back until we had finished. Also my eggs were wrong and again couldn’t be fixed. The manager gave us a free dessert to compensate. Just wouldn’t book right when they open for brunch because they are focused on setting up not serving.

I went there yesterday 11/11/23, I was sat at my table at 9:17pm , i was sat right next to where they cash people out so everyone could see me, I watched them see me as well. I didn’t even get approached until 9:43pm . And it was the bartender cause he saw that we were clearly annoyed. There was a table right to our right that was getting served and the table in front of us but we were not. So the bartender then became our waiter, he was fantastic and he clearly saw what took place and took our order and got us some silverware and water. We then ordered our food my girl doesn’t like pink steak so we sent it back once it came 20 mins later, then we could hear the kitchen being rude about having to cook the steak. When they could’ve just made it how we asked. We eventually got all of our food. And the food was delicious. The service was just absolutely horrible besides that bar tender. The manager and all the waiters and bus boys saw us sitting there and no one even attempted to help at all. I wasn’t rude in the slightest I just ordered my food ate and politely left. Definitely wasn’t a great experience in the slightest.

This is a great spot that we recently found in Birmingham. Located above the supermarket, this has some great menu items. It’s very fun that you can get a bottle of wine from the market and just pay a corking fee! (15$) The last time we were there, we were seated right away and had good service. The food was a bit slow and didn’t arrive all at the same time for our table, but overall our party had a very nice brunch together.

Brunch is back! Unfortunately not as good as it once was. Service was slow and inattentive, especially with a mostly empty restaurant. One of our meals had to be remade as it was completely overcooked. Their standards need to be raised, especially for their asking prices on food. Hopefully it’ll get back to being what it once was, because today wasn’t it unfortunately.

Quality of food has deteriorated here and the menu never changes. I ordered shrimp scampi and the sauce was alfredo style; my husband ordered lamb shank and his plate was served cold, so by the time it was warmed (and only the meat was heated; green beans and potatoes were colder still by this point), I was nearly finished with my food. Very limited wine list. Seated on the patio next to the leaky windows on a cold night. Majority of entrees are priced at $30 and up. Our last two experiences here have been disappointing. Used to be one of our regular go-to spots.

The food was amazing. We started of with the Caesar salad for 2 and a bowl of their clam chowder. The Caesar for 2 is huge...oh so good. Then we ordered the Charred Swordfish that came with broccolini and truffle mashed potatoes. OMG>..that was so delicious...I'm thinking of going back to get some more of that.

We dined there during The Woodward Dream Cruise so needless to say, the restaurant was slammed. We had a rsvp yet had to wait 10-15 minutes but it was worth it. I need to mention how great the staff and especially the manager Martin was. Being in the business in the past, I could tell it was busyyyyy in the kitchen, yet Martin kept it cool in there and was pleasant to all the patrons. He even bought us dessert:) Food as always, was on point!

The food was really bad. They were out of everything. We ordered three times and kept bring told they were out of everything. The Caesar Salads were warm and tasted like anchovies. Pasta was too spicy. Noise was louder than usual. Won’t be back

The food was delicious and we had a “special” priced 75 liter bottle of Caymus wine!!! Fabulous!!! Our wait person, Christina, was outstanding! She was friendly , helpful in making suggestions , attentive but not too intrusive and seems to like her job!!! Will definitely go back!

Our first experience here was great, which was a few months ago. We dined here again last night and our experience was horrible. Our waitress took a while to come to our table. Then when she brought our drinks, she did not come back for at least 25 minutes to check on us. I had to ask the food runner to get her because we were wanting more drinks. Then they brought us an additional entree that we did not order. She blamed it on their system being old and said she will get her manager to remove it from our bill.. I would hope they wouldn’t expect us to pay for something that we did not even order. Again, after bringing food, the waitress took forever to come back to check on us. I was so disappointed in our experience here, and will not be dining here again.

The food is honestly not good here. It’s WAY overpriced for what it is. Just not worth it. Disappointing because we live in the neighborhood and it’s a nice place to walk, but we won’t be wasting money there anymore.
