Outstanding dinner date with my wife last night. We've been here before (~3 years ago), and figured it was time to head south to Carver again and we're very glad we did. Easy to reserve a table, we were greeting warmly upon entering with the wood stove adding to the ambiance. This is not a large restaurant, and we were seating in the middle of the room at a table. Our server was outstanding, seemingly showing up right when we thought about finding her. Service was quick. Appetizers were good (5 fried pickles), our dinners were outstanding, the wine/drinks menu is extensive, and our dessert drinks were perfectly done. Its a little expensive for the area, but this is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for".
