Brasserie Sixty6 Ratings and Reviews
I was very disappointmented. Food was not good. I was surprised given all the good reviews. The steak had minimal flavor and was over cooked. Waitress never came back to check on how our meal was. Salad leaves had gone bad on my dish, although my husband salad was fine.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
I always find the service really good at Brasserie 66. I love that they have a separate vegetarian menu. I have one gripe with it though - it features parmesan cheese, which has no business on any vegetarian menu and really limits the choices available. That said, the food I ordered was lovely.
Great food quality for all our group of 10 people. Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we had coeliac and vegetarians in our group. The wine selection was great and overall the atmosphere was great. Will definitely recommend for future business meals and personally I will definitely return. Thanks,.
Four of us ate here after the Ireland vs South Africa Rugby on Saturday. We had pre-booked and received a confirmation telephone call the day before. We were seated very quickly at the time booked and were very well looked after by a variety of staff who were all friendly, fun and efficient. Our food was very good, and well presented, including a vegetarian dish and a huge portion of really nicely cooked duck. An excellent choice of wine at reasonable prices for central Dublin completed the picture. A very good evening out following an excellent day at the Rugby!!
Excellent service that really made the evening. Food was good; some of the fish dishes were particularly good, and the steaks were very nicely cooked, with tasty sides and solid (if unremarkable) starters. The food is good, but not exceptional, but the atmosphere was great, the staff are wonderful and we had a great time.
Myself and my husband just LOVE Brasserie 66 we always know we''ll find something we love to eat on the menu and the cocktail list is extensive! The only little thing this time was that my husband order an ''old fashioned'' the first one was just right with the orange peel but the 2nd was completely different, and disappointing as we were not asked ''which kind or anything'' we did order ''same again'' but the young lady who waited on us for the drinks didnt have the best English. I orded the Daiquiri and the first yummy, the 2nd tasted liek there was no alcohol in it whatsoever and for 12 or so euro i wanted my alcohol!
We were lucky enough to be escorted tot thier new bar across the rod ''fade and social'' and the cocktails there were much better i must say so I would recoemmend wine at dinner and across the road for cocktails!
Food is really good. Service not so great. Was waiting a while for the staff to take our order. The ambience is lovely. Had a piano playing in the background which drowns out the noise of the restaurant. I also found the tables too close together with little room for privacy. They also charged me over €3 for a coffee and over €3 for a Diet Coke which is expensive. Would go again but only for a special occasion.
Easy booking online, came here for my graduation. Greeted and seated very kindly the moment we went in great buzz and atmosphere. Plenty of options on the menu booth food and drink with the option of a cocktail instead of desert, so we had starters and mains which were fantastic, 2 deserts and 2 cocktails were ordered the deserts took a bit of extra time because it may have been forgotten due to the busy nature of the restaurant but it took nothing away from our experience and we were even given coffee free of charge. Everybody at our table had a great time the staff were excellent. Will we visit again? Of course!!!😊
The decor in the restaurant was lovely and comfortable. The soup wasn't warm enough, it was lukewarm. The first bottle of wine we ordered wasn't available and they had to check if they had our next choice. The twelve and a half percent service charge was a bit steep.
Really enjoyable experience, service was some of the best I've ever had in Dublin. 3 course menu was excellent value and very satisfying. My brother got the chicken liver parfait as a starter and it was one of the best things I've ver tasted. Melt in the mouth velvety smooth. The option of a dessert cocktail instead of dessert was also welcome as was very full after start and main. Would 100% both recommend and return!
Booked last minute for date night and it was good overall. Was a bit hap hazard on entry as it was extremely busy and the staff were a little overwhelmed to start with. However the cocktails were lovely and the food was good. Service was good but a little patchy. We sat at the table at the window and were advised that it was cold. It was Baltic but we did enjoy our evening.
The lunch menu in brasserie sixty 6 is great value, I can't believe I had never thought to try it before!
The hostess was so nice and friendly while at the same time giving us space and time to enjoy our food (I hate overbearing service).
I would recommend this for lunch, we were so happy with both the service and the food!
Waiting staff are very friendly, welcoming and accomadating, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed. There is something on the menu to suit all palletes even the fussy diner and there prices are very reasonable. They also have a great selection of cocktails on offer.Very happy diner look forward to a return visit.
The food was really amazing with the exception of the sweet potato side. Everything was presented very well and cooked perfectly.
The service was excellent to begin with, but as the restaurant got busier the service dropped dramatically. Great atmosphere and excellent cocktails. Would definitely recommend to anyone going on a special date or wanting to celebrate an occasion as prices are a bit high but definitely worth it! Not a meal to be rushed!
We had a wonderful dinner in a chilly night after walking the entire day in Dublin. Our server was efficient, I had a delicious hake with potatoes and vegetables and my husband was very happy with his double burger.Ambiance is good and I would recommend for sure this place,
Went on Saturday night and it was very busy which is always a good sign. Starters were Tuna which was very tasty but very small, Salmon nice but uninspiring, Mushroom soup very tasty and chicken wings plenty of them.
Mains two people had the monk fish which was overcooked and a little rubbery for both dishes. Warm gerkins while unusual didn't really add anything. Rib eye was excellent and the Boar was very good too.
The pecan pie was the winner of the night for me.
The food came very quickly which was a surprise given the number of diners. While it was never mentioned nor were we asked to move on it did all feel a little rushed and felt like the place needed to be cleared for another sitting.
There were a number of large groups who had to wait at the door to be seated and on a cold night it did get annoying that the door had to be left open while this was happening. The staff were efficient but not particularly warm.
Overall it was fine but not inspiring and not sure I would have it as a preference of places to go in town. It was alright but nothing special, the prices were a little higher than I felt the food was worth.
I had wanted to eat in your property for a while as i had heard good reviews but unfortunately my experience was not one of them.
The service was friendly but slow, the food was nice but overpriced, my biggest complaint was your bathrooms.
They were disgusting with no toilet roll in any of the ladies, puck and “other stuff” in most of them and worst, we complaint to our waiter about the toilets and my friend went down 30/40 min later and there was no change. Not even toilet roll in the cubicles.
It’s an area that a restaurant should not be falling down on – even after we mentioned it.
Very enjoyable dinner for my college graduation with my family. The place was full, yet we still got very good and attentive service. I didn't catch the name of our waiter but he wa Avery efficient, humorous, and overall - on the ball. Drinks across the road afterwards was also a pleasant and unexpected end to our visit. Thank you very much for everything!
