Brasserie Sixty6 Ratings and Reviews
Best meal in Dublin! I am a died-in-the-wool foodie and very discerning when it comes to quality and creativity. I was truly inspired!! The monkfish was beautifully plated and exquisitely delicious. I will happily eat here every time I'm in Dublin!! The cocktails were also lovely. The tobacco whiskey was perfect!
Great place to meet up with friends for a relaxed brunch. Good menu, food and jazz guitar for a real brunch atmosphere. Quick tip - ask for a table not too close to the bar. We were directly opposite the bar and musician; both great but did make it more difficult to hear people at the table. Otherwise, excellent.
The service was quite poor. We were waiting quite a long time for our food order to be taken and were not offered drinks whilst we were waiting. There were mistakes with our order - which were not even apologised for. Also, is it really necessary for the waiter to roar out the name of each dish as he is serving to find out who ordered it??
We had a great evening celebrating my daughters 21 birthday. Great deal for diner with wine. Good food. Staff very friendly. And good singing voices when they brought a surprise 'Happy birthday icecream-with a little candle'. Could not have wished for a better birthday-diner for my daughter.
MY WIFE AND MYSELF HAD A GREAT NIGHT ON SATURDAY. WE HAD THE EARLY Bird menu it was great value and had everything we wanted. Only bad point was the phone call the day before confirming our booking when we were told the table had to be returned by 7.30. We were booked for 5.30 and would have been gone by then but just been on a time limit was a bit disoppiting over all EXELLENT.
A very vibrant buzzing restaurant full of atmosphere with a menu that should have something for everyone. Wine isn't cheap however. We both had the crab salad which was lovely and v unusual and duck for main - it was gorgeous itself but odd in the way it was served with a salad. I would return.
I have to say I was extremely disappointed with my visit to brassiere 66. The service was poor and we had to wait for ages and finally ask someone else before we got our bill. I asked for duck -well done and my husband asked for steak-rare. My duck was really pink and the steak really well done. We couldn't get waitress to complain. Very poor and very expensive. Definitely won't be going back.
I had an early evening mid week catch up with some friends recently in Brasserie 66 and the food was delicious. There was also a decent vegetarian menu available and a good value early which ran all night. The staff were very charming and entertaining. We would definitely return.
We were very disappointed with the food and bar service was very slow to start with.
I had rare surf and turf and it was tough.
this was a graduation dinner of our daughter and there were 5 of us.
the other thing is you had no lager except a local brew.
resturant very noisy.
As a group of 4, we had a really enjoyable dinner here last Saturday evening. We chose brasserie 66 as one of our group is coeliac and the menu offers a really great selection of food for those with coeliac disease. There was a very minor mix up with one of our mains, but it was very well dealt with and reflected in our final bill. We would definitely recommend brasserie 66, and will be eating here again!
Excellent service, food and staff very attentive. Best experience in a Dublin restaurant for a long time. Maitre D was very positive and welcoming. Grt vibe in the restaurant. We throughly enjoyed our experience. Would recommend to friends and will return!😉
Always enjoy Brasserie 66 . Great for a girlie get together for food and wine with cocktails as an alternative to dessert. Always a great buzz and the staff are very friendly. If you sign up to their newsletter great deals often are available. Would highly recommend
Quite a happening place for a Wednesday night. Staff were very helpful and pleasant - even helped entertain our 19 mth old son during the course of the visit. Atmosphere and vibe were great and the food was good.
We were in Dublin for only the one night so were very glad we picked this place as the restaurant to go to during our stay.
I bought a voucher through Taste which included a bottle of wine and 2 cocktails. The wine was a chardonnay and it was fine. The cocktails were all prosecco based.
The food had a good choice and they were extremely tasty. Good size portion too. The deserts didn't look very appealing on the menu but they do give an option of a cocktail instead of a desert which I went for.
Staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Décor was nice and location is great for those wanting to go on anywhere.
I would certainly go again. They do good offers during mid week so no need to buy through Taste at all- go direct to the restaurant.
