Brasserie Sixty6
Great food, excellent service. Will definitely return. One of the best steaks I've ever had. My only critism would be that I ordered my steak rare but it arrived medium rare. I know though that in this country people ordering rare get scared when they actually get a rare steak! I like it bloody, and as I understand it this is how a rare steak should be. However the steak was still absolutely delicious and I cannot fault the quality of the meat. Also service was very quick. We had a lovely time.
Very poor service at the start of our meal which unfortunately impacted poorly on our overall experience
Abrupt service, felt rushed even though we were happy to leave within the 2 hour time frame bit got impression they wanted us out in 1.5! Food was OK, lukewarm (mushroom tagliatelle) but far overpriced for what it was...
Very lively, busy restaurant. Great service despite being busy. Good choices on menu, good food. Relatively expensive so value for money at 4stars not 5, but worth a visit !
Love going here, lovely restaurant, only fault on last visit girl showed us to our table wasnt very welcoming just threw menu down and walked off...and chicken dish very dry.. otherwise lovely evening.
We got our table 15 minutes late but felt rushed off the table even though we were not told they needed it back at a certain time.
We had the set menu with wine and cocktails; the steak was fabulous!! The staff were very friendly and we were allowed the time to enjoy or meal and drinks, even on a busy Saturday night. We will definitely be back.
I have been to the restaurant numberous times in the past, and love it! Saturday evening was the start of the Xmas cheer, and the venue was rocking. At one stage a group of ladies arrived and they screamed so much that it was impossible to have a conversation. The lady next to us complained, but nothing was done. I know you cannot ask people to be quite, but this was excessive. We ended up eating in silence, as we couldn't hear each other.
Food was delicious, and service was fantasic.
Highly recommend the extensive cocktail list.
We were told twice by staff that we had to finish up as there policy was only 2 hours per table, this was when restaurant was getting busy But on arrival we were never told this policy , that the table was needed back .
We were told by manager that every restaurant in Dublin has a 2 hour table policy which I assume is untrue
Nice vibe, even if it's really loud. Food is good, but expensive. Worth a shot!
Food was really nice couldn’t find fault with anything but the service was a bit lax ordered drinks twice and had to chase them up because they had been forgotten and very hard to catch waiting staff to get the bill.
Great evening, food was wonderful, staff so pleasant and helpful, little room for improvement
Thanks
Excellent experience. Highly recommended
Lovely pre theatre menu, very busy but staff had plenty of time to chat to us, and check back that everything was ok . Food was very good. Liked the idea of the cocktail instead of dessert if too full😘😍
A bit of dissatisfaction with the very limited offers for lunch. Luckily The was one reasonable blackboard special on which was nice. The website indicated a quick lunch menu plus an additional alla carte selection but I was informed that we could only have the small menu that was about 50 % sandwich based. We won’t rush back
Brasserie Sixty6 is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. The food is fantastic, lovely cozy atmosphere, and friendly and professional staff. They also have lovely cocktails if you're too full for desert! I've been here countless times and always have a wonderful experience.
Poor value food, overpriced, noisy. We won't be back.
Very noisy but terrific food and attentive staff. Once the stag/hen parties had left the noise levels were much more acceptable.
One dish was a little on the cool side, normally always good here, starter good. One main the chicken roast with veg was cool in temperature. I find the tables a little close.
Really enjoyable evening, delicious food, best calamari I’ve ever tasted. Professional and friendly staff. Also great buzz about the place. I highly recommend 66.
disappointing as i had been before and it was good. Food wasnt great, calamari too thickly cut ,so it was too rubbery, Lamb chop was requested well done but arrived pink with hardly any meat and a huge bone in the middle so totally under done for me. Side salad and chips were good but you cant go wrong with that i suppose.
Visited the place for lunch with friends to celebrate my birthday. We were delighted by the food (lots of flavors), However the lunch menu is quite small and I got surprised by that.
The service was above average, but the first waitress who welcomed us at the restaurant took a good while to take our order that was reasonable as she was alone, however the restaurant had only 3 or 4 tables.
We arrived on time for out reservation and our table was ready in a comfortable corner of the restaurant.
We ordered a variety of plates as we were in 5 people, food was well presented and it was delicious. In my opinion the price for the lunch was a bargain, we paid around 12.00 to 14.00 euro per person for the main dish with a glass of house wine.
As it was my birthday they offered a happy birthday plate with ice cream and chocolate sauce, I was surprised because we just asked if they had any birthday special and they came with that, I was delighted.
We stayed in the restaurant for nearly 3 hours, after dessert and good moments of laugh, the waiter (unfortunately I won't remember his name) came and politely asked if we would like to order any more food because he needs to close the lunch till, we declined the offer and asked for the bill, and he came with 5 glasses of Prosecco apologizing for rushing us on the bill, but he never rushed us, we were about to leave. That was outstanding in my opinion.
We left the tip and went out of the restaurant with a smile.
I was greatly excited about visiting Brasserie Sixty6 after get some recommendations from close friends.
I’d love to visit the place again. You can go with your friends, family, partner or whosoever you wish to. Highly recommended.
The 4 of us ate off the €44 set menu which had good choices. My burger was very tasty & the chips were gorgeous. It was very busy on Saturday night but the noise level was bearable. I would like to see wines at more reasonable prices, nothing less than €30 on the list but that seems to be common to most restaurants now.
Lovely evening spent here. Booked it a good 2 weeks ago but our table was way down the back of the restaurant and beside a door where it felt drafty. Service was fine until we needed our bill to be paid and we got forgotten about! Menu was lovely and varied - great choice! Background music not really needed as it’s a bit loud!
Food was not good value for money, no flavour, had to leave most of it
Has a lovely time on Saturday night, Staff very friendly and efficent.
We've been here numerous times before. Our recent visit left a lot to be desired! The person who greeted us on arrival was extremely rude, not very welcoming and when l told him we had a voucher he basically snapped the menu he had given us, gave us the set menu and snapped the voucher out of my hand!! The girl who served us was friendly but we had to ask for the bill three times!! Definitely gone downhill in terms of customer service.
We were supposed to have the table for 2hrs, as is in their T&C. But felt rushed.
Then the desert menu didn't appear and we were asked if Hostess had told us the table was only for 1.5hr, which she didn't.
They new the time we booked and how long the table is in use for, so shouldn't have double booked it, leave a slight bad taste.
Disappointed with the Caesar salad. Use of processed chicken and overload of bacon put me off. Other guests happy with the eggs Benedict but found them sweet.
I met a friend for a late lunch. It took over 20 mins for his drink to come. The waitress was ok, but a bit short.
When I arrived however I was greeted with a warm welcome. However Brasserie Sixty6, said I was a no show. What is that about.
Menu is very basic during the day, if you want healthy food, this is mostly old style cooking.
Not great value for your €, especially if you compare it to The Ivy, who smash it every time.
We enjoyed the food but it was too noisey and we were asked to leave the table, however, when I made the booking this was not mentioned and we would have ordered another bottle of wine or coctails but that was not an option unless we moved to the very small bar, which was not exactly the most private place to be having a chin way. . The waiting staff were friendly but a bit disorganized.
Staff were very nice and helpful and would certainly recommend to my friends X
Excellent I will definitely go back there again! Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff!
Great brunch with a few friends yesterday. Food was lovely and we all enjoyed it. Music too loud where we were but overall a good 4/5
Good food and service . Venue is a little cramped and loud
Went for Brunch with family to celebrate a family occasion- good choice on the menu and everyone was very happy with their dish.
Really good service - we had voucher from The Taste and the menu was excellent- enjoyed and definitely deserves a return visit.
Great service, food was delicious and good portion sizes, early bird menu was great value and lots of choice.
I used a Taste Voucher which is great value. Otherwise it would be expensive. The music the restaurant plays is far too loud and everyone has to shout which is uncomfortable. Besides that its a great restaurant.
Great menu, staff and ambiance , would go back to again.
