Best steak I've had in a long time, waited about 40 mins for the food but was worth it in the end.

Food and drink were very good but the menu we were given stated that the cocktail at the the start of the meal were included. When the bill arrived we were charged €5 each for the cocktails
This was not clear on the menu , but did not spoil the evening

Great food and attentive service made our visit a lovely experience. The hake was delicious and the apple crumble mouthwatering.

The ambiance is good and the service was good too, but we think it is overpriced. The surf and turf comes with a steak that is ok in size, but you only get 3 prawns. For almost € 30,00!!??
Also the wine is way too expensive.

I had to book a last minute table for 7 due to a date mix up however I am so glad I came across this lovely restaurant. On entering there was a great buzz as it was absolutely full. A smiley front of house greeted us and showed us to our table. I was initially concerned as it was all the way at the back and thought it would impact atmosphere and service. How wrong I was - our waiter was outstanding. Attentive, fast, funny, patient and gave good advice on choice, despite his area of the restaurant being rammed with large table groups. The atmosphere was buzzing but not loud. The food was outstanding and delicious and everyone's meal, both starters and main was delicious and warm and good quality. Friends said next day how delicious it all was. Very impressive choice of wine and reasonably priced for good bottles compared to other restaurants. We didn't feel rushed even as we were one of the remaining few tables at the end of the night indeed they asked us if we wanted more drinks. And the price for 6 people was extremely reasonable considering the quality and also considering we had starters and desserts and a few bottles of wine. It also added to a nice birthday evening so we will definitely be back.

The food was disappointing. Smoked salmon starter was simple but nice. The salmon was very good quality and the brown bread was very tasty. I got short rib beef for the main course and it was very disappointing. The beef was ok but not fully there in terms of "falling off the bone". The main problem was the sweet potato wedges which had a very sharp taste (which I think came from some sort of a citrus creme fraiche type accompaniment) and they just didn't go with the beef. There was also a lack of sauce/gravy. Overall there are a myriad of sweet potato/chip options and I think they would be better served concentrating on a few classics. There were 4 people at our table and there were 2 different types of sweet potato wedges and 2 different kinds of chips. Nobody at the table complimented the food. The atmosphere was great and the location is excellent but the standard of the food lags well behind.

The food was unreal, I can see why Brasserie 66 has such a good repuation for its food but was a bit disappointed by the service.

At first the service was good, our server was over straight away when we were seated with the menus and took our drink order straight away. However oncethe food was served he never back near us,didn't check that everything was okay and never offered us a drink refill even though my collegues drink was gone by halfway through the mealI had finished my meal but my colleague was still eating and a server came over to ask if they could take our food away and we had to tell them she were still eating, made me feel very rushed. He did offer us a dessert menu but we had to call him over to request the bill.

The only let down was it was hard to get the attention of staff. It was quite busy though. Wouldn’t put me off however I’ll definitely be back. Food is delicious and cocktails are amazing!

Had a meal for my friends Birthday in our fave restaurant. Service was fantastic. Food divine. Such lovely staff. However we were seated next to a huge group of people who stood up chatting around the table for the duration of our stay. They were bothering us and the staff who acknowledged to us that their being stood there was making their job difficult. It was like they were hovering around us the whole time which made it hard to relax. I think it totally would have been acceptable to ask them to be seated. I will go back probably but Id hope not to get the same experience.

My wife and I and two adult children ate at this restaurant on a Monday evening and the place was busy, which tells me they are doing something right. They had a fairly extensive mixed cocktail list, which I found out is not easy to find in Ireland, the service was attentive without being overly so and our food was excellent (I had the braised short rib with polenta). I highly recommend this restaurant

Really enjoy visiting Dublin regularly. We try to dine in somewhere different every time. Brasserie sixty6 read well on trip advisor and looked well on website.
Restaurant entrance filthy outside and in.
Salmon main overcooked with plain lettuce leaves which were supposed to be braised! Mushrooms drowned in oil. Chips cold.
Toilets needed attention.
Couldn't wait to get out of the place.
Will never be back!!

Enjoyed our evening meal at Brasserie66. The staff were all very nice, and everyone enjoyed the food. For me, my tuna starter was a little bland and the boar cutlet a little dry. However, I would still give the food 7/10. Everyone else was happier with their food, so perhaps I'm too fussy, or just picked badly.
Strong wine selection too.

Not at all impressed with this restaurant to be honest. The food was very poor & the portions were measly. Avoid the chicken pie if you actually want to eat some chicken.... it had all of 3 pieces inside....!!!! Very full to the point of being overcrowded with a very noisy atmosphere. It had the feel of a Mc Donald's & to be frank i'm sorry I didn't go there for something to eat, the food would have been much better for a fraction of the cost.... Didn't bother with a desert or drinks & couldn't get out of there quick enough.

We visited Brasserie 66 to celebrate my wife's birthday, having seen it in The Times and been recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed, our family of 5 (ages 28 - 64) had a great time and were well looked after by the staff. The ambience was great with a live duo playing in the background and the food was of a high standard from a fairly limited menu. There was plenty of choice for my wife who does not eat meat. Unfortunately 1 dish got "mis - served" but other than this all was good and they even provided a birthday ice cream treat and the obligatory chorus. It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for; I would dine here again if in Dublin.

My partner and I really enjoyed our experience, we were running slightly late for our reservation and were then going to a show after. When we mentioned we were looking for a quick turn around with our meal the staff were amazing and we did not disappoint with out of this world customer service , they couldn't do enough for us and were super friendly. Also with this the quality of our food didn't suffer , it was over all a fabulous experience and we can't wait to return again with more time to spare.
