The bread was hard as a rock . The black beans was nasty. The service was slow. I would never return nor recommend anyone to eat here.
On time for our 6 pm reservation only to find out they did not put the AC on and it was 90 degrees in NYC, after complaining we were going to leave they put on AC. Food was tasty but food portions are small, I ordered the jumbo shrimp and mixed veggies and I received 5 medium to large shrimp, everything was ala carte didn't even come with white rice. We have been going to this resturant for years and now noticed the quality has gone down. Wait staff was not very attentive since no one at our table was ordering alcohol.
We will be finding another place to hang out and bring friends.
Service was excellent. Food was wonderful. Manager was very accommodating and had great people skills.
Steaks and salads were very good, the service was also good, the cost seemed to be quite high, but this is New York, near Madison Square Garden, so probably it is among medium segment. Tips of 20% were included in the receipt
Great caipirinhas. Good food and service. Location cant be beat for the theater. For NYC restaurant the value was very good.Authentic Brazilan .
From the moment we arrived the staff was courteous, friendly and attentive. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the presentation was beautiful! Very eye catching!
If your going to the theater don't go here. An evening when it is only dinner.
The food was very good, we had the seafood paella and the seafood and fish stew. Dessert took a long time to come out and at times it seemed as though we didn’t see our server for a while. We were the only ones sitting outside for some of the time we were there.
Nice food and good service. We will come back. The background live mudic was a plus.
I had the grilled fish combination platter. It was so good. Granddaughter had the pasta and was seasoned just right and pasta cooked perfectly. The servers were so nice and gave you plenty of time to enjoy your meal.
Brazil Brazil was not what I expected. Definitely a tourist spot. They had ALOT of items listed on the menu that they no longer had. If you go here try to not to expect much. They brought out a dessert for my birthday and the candle tipped over and burned the table. The food was better than the service.
Food was excellent. Steaks were slightly darker then ordered but still delicious. Waiter recommended dishes that did not disappoint. Appetizers, entrees & drinks were enjoyable.
A good alternative to Joe Allen's for a theatre meal. The food has a novel spin, and the atmosphere is conducive for conversation.
Brazil Brazil was a wonderful experience. We were warmly greeted and seated in the then empty restaurant in a lovely dining area. However, we moved into the bar area after a rowdy and self-absorbed group of 16 people created a disturbing level of noise. However, we once in the bar area we were able to fully appreciate our meal and the entire wait staff who were extremely busy due to the large group in the dining area.
Our main server was very gracious as he recommended the Fao de Quejo or Brazilian cheese bread. It was delicious. My husband ordered Paella and I the Mariscada or mixed seafood entree. The Paella was the best we had ever tasted with generous portions of shellfish and other mild fish on top of exquisitely flavored saffron and garlic flavored rice. My Meriscada was likewise full of shellfish and a large portion of a fish fillet along with a side of white rice. Both dishes were wonderful. We finished our bottle of Brazilian Chardonnay and our server gave us a complimentary shot of "Coquito", a coconut flavored eggnog which was delectable.
The manager, team of servers and the chef seem to sincerely enjoy their work. The service and excellent food reflect their enthusiasm. We'll definitely recommend Brazil Brazil to others and look forward to returning.
We loved their charming and attentive waiters, the food was delicious, and we went back to eat there again. The next time we are in nyc we will return to Brazil, Brazil
Food was excellent and service was outstanding. He went out of his way to explain menu to me and my kids and made recommendations that were fantastic. We will definitely be back!
Food not that exciting.
Preshow dinner, had happy hour drinks at the bar. Food and service all good.
Great restaurant.Wonderful menu, full of a variety of items, including Brazilian favorites. The portion size, presentation, quality, and flavors were outstanding. Extensive drink menu. Terrific table service.
This is a gem on restaurant row!
We had a special event and chose Brazil Brazil for our celebration. Our wait staff was attentive but didn’t hover. They made suggestions and were spot on with every selection. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp in the coconut was fab. Also the chicken with hearts of palm was amazing. The decor was beautiful with bar seating, back patio , inside and street outside seating. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this place.
Very nice late lunch today.. Prices a little on the higher side but would definitely return because service and everything else was great
There were 4 of us and each of us totally enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was great and mindful of our time and requests. I would definitely tell all to go here!
Food was very good, but the service was not good this time. Too bad, too, because last time it was terrific service.
I noticed they gave rolls to other tables (we got none) - and one table that got rolls only looked at the menu and left. The drinks came out well after our food was served. We had not one, not two, but three different waiters. And it's nice to have the chance to sit and chat after dessert, but we waited another 20 minutes to get the bill with no one attending to us at all.
I've eaten at Brazil Brazil many times and have always been pleased with the food and the service.
We ate at the bar and the bartender was wonderful. Food was good and drinks were too.
We visited to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food and service were amazing. The staff really made sure that our night was special. Best seafood paella we’ve ever had! Would absolutely visit again.
We arrived at a quiet lunch hour on a Sunday. They agreed to let us sit in the garden out back although no one else was out there. It was lovely, quiet, and calming. Food was excellent. We started with the Tropical Salad, which was a lovely mix of crunch, and fresh flavor. I had strip steak which was cooked perfectly and quite delicious. One of my partners-in-food had the Moqueca de Peixe ( Fish Stew) which I've had before. Excellent and different. A good restaurant, which I would visit again!
Wonderful meal. Great service. Will definitely go back again the next time we’re in town.
Very good value in pleasant surroundings for theater district.
Absolutely delicious food and the service was spectacular. We will be back
Food and service was excellent!
Very disappointed on so many levels, from price to food quality. Meals came out a different times, appetizers were forgotten about, certain items were not available, the mussels smelled like they were about to go bad. No wonder the place was empty by 9:00 p.m..
Excellent steaks ! Great service! I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent dinner and service. Highly recommend this restaurant
They didn't have the one dish I always go for. The fish stew I ordered in its place was well made, if not terribly memorable. Still a reliable restaurant, but next time I'll probably call ahead.
Excellent fresh seafood! My first time eating Brazilian; definitely impressed. Husband had a steak that he said was good!
I love the food here. It's so fresh. We never feel rushed, either. The only problem we had was that it got a bit warm while we were dining. Fortunately, they turned the heat down and it was much more comfortable.
I enjoyed the food the service was excellent
We had a wonderful meal.
