It was pretty quiet when we first arrived, but after a sudden rain storm everyone seated at the outside tables came in and it was pretty filled and lively. Food arrived quickly and was tasty--the pork knuckle is HUGE. I'd highly recommend experiencing the barrel tasting, the woman back there was so personable and knowledgeable. We ended up buying three bottles to take home. Great rose cider! MoreOpenTable Diner -
At first it was a little confusing since it is in an apt. But once we got there it was amazing! The setup was great, that of a private restaurant room. Laura and Abraham both greeted us at the door and sat us down. The hospitality felt so great that we felt like family. The food was excellent, each dish came with a little history and were very fulfilling. After the dinner Laura and Abraham both sat down with us at the table and we spoke as if we known them for years. The flat fee was also good, no need for check racking up with each order. Overall great experience, a must go to if I say so myself. MoreOpenTable Diner -

I went with my family as a last minute resort. The staff was attentive and helpful, they even accommodated is with a booth since we were 9 people. The food was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. I would go back alone or on a date since it’s more of a small plates and cocktails type of place. I enjoyed it and will definitely go back. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Wonderful spot in Bushwick with a good kitchen, kitschy decor and a warm and welcoming staff. The oysters, lobster roll, chicken and waffles, lobster benedict and french toast were all excellent. A great neighborhood place for brunch, I'll return to try what they have in store for dinner. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Guacuco is a Venezuelan restaurant specializing in traditional arepa plates. This restaurant has been gaining popularity, thanks to its inclusion in The Village Voice, which named it The Best Venezuelan Restaurant in New York City. Given the size of this megacity, that is quite an accomplishment. Guacuco also prides itself on its coffee offerings, which culturally speaking, are just as important as the meal itself.
Guacuco's menu is primarily split between arepas and empañdas. Arepas are a form of sandwich that can be filled with any manner of ingredients. Some of Guacuco's more popular recipes include the parrillada with slices of steak and chicken with onions & peppers as well as the guayanes, a vegetarian option made with a mild and creamy Venezuelan cheese. As for empañadas, diners can get a classic ham and cheese, shredded fish or the abellon made with shredded beef, plantains, black beans and white cheese.More
This was a great find for my group of 4. We were looking for a good brunch spot with bottomless mimosas. And we hit the jackpot with Juno. The food was great and the service was friendly and excellent. I have recommended it already to some friends and we will be back again. MoreOpenTable Diner -
The food was fantastic - $1 oysters are hard to pass up! Beautiful charcuterie platters, steak frites, salmon cooked rare as requested. Wonderful cocktails! We were in transit and were 45 minutes late (party of 7)-they were very nicely accommodating, and there was no rushing us out! Great choice in Bushwick! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Bunna Cafe provides an ethnic cuisine that you may not have experienced as of yet – Ethiopian. Brooklyn is home to just about any cuisine imaginable, but none are even close to the flavors and unique dining experience that Bunna Cafe has to offer. A very special part of the experience is the Ethiopian coffee ceremony performed at events. Bunna coffee drives the Ethiopian economy so drinking coffee is not just a morning pick-me-up, it is celebrated.
Another unique thing about Ethiopian cuisine is injera, a sourdough flatbread that is made using teff flour, or a teff/barley flour combination as it is made at Bunna Cafe. The traditional way to eat Ethiopian food is to use the injera as a scoop – no utensils. Try it, it’s fun! If you are looking for unique, plant-based food, this is the place to go.More

I made a reservation here based on OT and because it had brewery on it, i was in the mood for that. Located on Harrison St north of Flushing ave, it is non descript and low key. I liked that upon my arrival. There was plenty of parking and they told me during the day, there is none, but at night it opens up for spaces. Thats a huge deal for me. It has a nice long bar on the left side and you can see the huge vats for brewing towards the back of the place. The people greeted us with a friendly smile and we decided to sit at the bar on the end. It is a very clean place including the white marble looking bar. The had about 14 spouts for beers they produce. I believe they have brews for every palate that may come in. You will
