The food the ambience the attention to detail and old school charm makes this restaurant a really really special. William the manager made sure we were enjoying our meal. Music was paired perfectly with their excellent Martini’s. Super cool bar as well. Going back soon :)

Very Disappointing — What Happened to Buffalo Club? We went to Buffalo Club on Saturday evening with a party of four, and I honestly don’t know what has happened to this restaurant. It was one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles back in the day, which made this experience especially disappointing. There were only three people in the entire restaurant. The entire back area was closed, there was no real activity or energy, and heat lamps were sitting on the ground. The atmosphere was so strange and empty that it honestly felt like we had stepped into the Twilight Zone. There were no waiters. Our maître d’ was essentially our waiter, which was very odd. The service felt completely indifferent, as though no one really cared about the experience. Unfortunately, the food has gone downhill as well. We asked for bread, and it took an unusually long time to arrive. When it finally did, we were served what appeared to be old, stale little baguettes. They were so hard they were almost impossible to eat. If the bread was simply stale, it could have easily been refreshed with a little water and put back in the oven, but instead it was served to us as-is—and we were charged for it. We also ordered three chicken pot pies, which were extremely disappointing. The chicken tasted stale and dry, and the dish was nowhere near what we remembered or expected from Buffalo Club. Overall, it was a horrible experience—from the food and service to the strange, lifeless ambiance. It was especially sad because Buffalo Club used to be one of the restaurants in Los Angeles that we really loved. I truly don’t know what happened, but this felt like a completely different restaurant, and sadly, not a good one.

The Buffalo Club is one of Santa Monica's true gems! It is a favorite for a special occasion, or a mid-week treat. The service is absolutely phenomenal and the cuisine is always 5 star. We really enjoy the ambiance and friendliness of the staff. They make good cocktails, but unfortunately, the food was average. We ordered the pork tomahawk and the beef bourguignon, and both were quite dry. We'd go back for drinks but for food quality/price there are better options in the area.

Came one evening for a small celebratory dinner with my partner. Absolutely lovely and attentive staff. It was a slower night and they really made us feel at home. Great spot!
