Caverna Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
Very lovely dinner, food was very nice and the staff excellent. Amazing experience. Keep being friendly as it does make a big difference.
We will come back again:) - loved the decoration, quality of service, food and wine.
Fantastic food and service, will come again next time I am in Dublin. You would walk past it in the street and not think much of it, I had booked on line before my trip, I was very very pleased, it was busy but service was very efficient, food was excellent.
Food was good but very expensive. Was put downstairs at our table(only 2 in the room) we was left and forgot about. No ambience. Once other tables (2 tables) had people at them it improved. Very small cramped area and wasnt fully occupied.
I booked la Caverna for a Christmas night out with 9 friends. We were given a lovely square table on a floor with just one other group. The food was tasty and great value. The service was very good and not intrusive. I would recommend to a friend.
Booked this for my step son's birthday as we were in Dublin prior to heading back to England. Lovely little restaurant which is close enough to the city but also a bit off the beaten track. We had three children with us, 14, 13 and 11 and there was something on the menu to suit everyone with no complaints from the children. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Cannot fault this restaurant and would definitely recommend if you are in the city with or without children.
The basement cave provides a fantastic atmosphere. Our evening started here but there was a noisy hen party in progress so we asked to move to the upstairs. We were moved to the second floor then to a lovely table by the window. The hostess/waitress made up for the musical tables and the food was excellent!
I searched online for a restaurant for celebrating my birthday, with my friends, and I saw this place online, so I just checked it, and it was great, the food was really good and the staff was nice, so I had a good time there, the place was not small and not to big, it was just about right for a pleasant dinner 😁✌️👍
Nice menu with lots of options. The food is hot and tasty and the service excellent. We ate early evening 6pm so the restaurant was really quiet, but I expect it would be more atmospheric later in the evening. Early bird menu is terrific value and the option of having all wines by the glass is a real treat.
Lovely experience - went as a couple for a evening meal - we requested the cellar and were sat down there and was the only people down there all meal the seating area upstairs started getting busy as we was leaving (it was a Tuesday evening )
The food came at a quick pace and the staff were friendly and knew the dishes well
It came to about 33 Euro a head which included a started, main, bottle water and a glass of (lovely) procecco!
Well worth a visit and very very close to temple bar!
