Unfortunately, my review is the same as last time. There is no better Italian in Charlotte. The initial service is excellent. Do not come to this place and be there near closing. This is the second time in a row I have had a fantastic dinner and service only to get to the end ( near closing ) and no service or attention. I had to beg for the dessert menu, coffee, and check. At least this time, the waiter did not disappear, and I finally ran him down. Ruined a perfect meal It is a shame to ruin a perfectly good meal when the staff is more focused on closing than finishing up on a positive note.

Overall an extremely enjoyable experience. Service was a bit slow and we chalked it up to potential staffing issues. Food was well worth the wait. The restaurant was filled which contributed to the atmosphere being energetic.

Perfect restaurant. Tucked away and small. While it was loud, by 8:15 the crowd was thinning. Server was perfect. As was the meal. When my husband thought he had ordered one dish and received something else, the owner came over and apologized. And comped us. Will come back every time we are in Charlotte.
