Oh my!!! That Carrot Cake and that Blueberry mixed drink was AWESOME!!! My husband and I shared the Porterhouse Steak with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Being that, it was my first time ever eating a steak at a Steak House, I was so expressed. Whenever we go to Ruth Chris’s I get the stuff chicken, because I really don't eat steak , but this steak was so delicious and tender. The seasoning was immaculate !!! Wow is all I can say!!!
Incredible waiter... I wish I remembered his name. He reminded me of Teddy Pendergrass. He made the night special for our party. He said he has worked at many steakhouses and you could tell he was best of class.
The Oysters were fantastic. Halibut fish and chips were lightly breaded with perfectly cooked halibut. Paired with the New Zealand Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc made it perfect. The Seafood Tagliatelle created with homemade linguine noodles was a savory shrimp, clam and mussels delight.
Mag the waitress was always available without being intrusive and her recommendations were perfectly on point.
We ended with the Gooey Butter Cake. Perfectly textured butter cake topped with a creamy French vanilla ice cream.
At 6:30pm on a Friday the place was just beginning to fill up. We were seated immediately (with reservations) and service was perfectly timed. Our walk home was much needed as every bite was enjoyed. Our comment to each other walking out is “rarely do establishments meet every expectation” and Caroline’s Oyster Bar nailed it. We will be back.
Dolce is one of our go to restaurants. It is always enjoyable and the staff is very pleasant. There was one time the mussels were so salty that I couldn't eat them.
As a result, I have not ordered them again. However, last night I tried one that my son ordered. It was much better!
