I was dining alone, but I was treated nicely, while leaving me space. I was between two noisy parties, so next time I’d eat outside. More

Food was delicious...the burratta salad and bruleed cheesecake dessert especially. The restaurant itself is quite elegant, yet has a contemporary and relaxed vibe. The best part of the visit was the service. Our waiter from Belluno was charming, gave us our space, yet we became friends before the night was over. Hope to return on my next trip to Chicago! More

This is a marvelous restaurant to go to for a spe ial occasion or quiet business lunch. Located in an elegant hotel, one is greeted as soon as you step off the elevator. The two rooms are beautifully appointed with lovely dishes, chandeliers, andwhite tablecloths. Service is attentive and helpful. The menu at lunch offers something for everyone. But the 4-course express lunch is a reasonable an excellent option with a cup of french onion soup, small salad, "beef Wellington" and dessert. It was all delicious and just enough to satisfy anyone. Drink choices were varied also. Plus the restaurant proved a dessert with candle to celebrate my companion's birthday. I recommend this restaurant highly! More

The server was extremely professional and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. However, the hostess was not pleasant. The restrooms are inconveniently located below grade and require taking approximately 20 stairs down to the basement. More

Great wide Open space that can accommodate large groups easily. The vibe is pretty casual, so casual in fact I was surprised with how refined the menu was. Everything was delicious, I’ll be at expensive, and the drinks were great to match. Will definitely return. More

Quite frankly, this was the best tasting menu food wise I've ever had. And in the last year and a half I've experienced 10 Michelin stars plus worth of tasting menus. The food was simply exquisite from darn near start to finish. The stumbles were courses that were just great. More

BanditBandit
American | West Loop, Chicago

A polished-casual restaurant & bar that combines the charm and character of a local neighborhood bar with the sophistication and quality of an upscale, chef-driven restaurant. The design of Bandit is a juxtaposition of rustic materials, vintage paraphernalia, and polished décor. It is lowbrow meets high style; glamour meets grit with warm ambient twinkle lights, combined with edgy neon bar signs creating an inviting feel to the restaurant. Nostalgic, “divey” elements are harmoniously married to elevated attributes throughout the concept in both look and feel, as well as the food and drink presentation. The menu is comprised of eclectic American comfort food with Executive Chef Shane Graybeal behind the creation of the dishes. Chef Graybeal brings his rustic American style of cooking to Bandit with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients.

Discover Chicago

Winds whipping off Lake Michigan are no match for hungry Chicagoans in pursuit of the ultimate burger and a respite from brutal winters. Historically at the heart of the meat industry, the city’s slaughterhouses now house tony Michelin-starred restaurants, and deep-dish is just one of countless takes on Italian American staples in town. Arguably the American capital of molecular gastronomy, Chicago is at once a trendsetter and the capital of casual. Calling all carnivores.
