Steakhouse | River North (Chicago), Chicago

My husband and I went to the Chop House before a Cubs game. My husband, an avid meat eater, said it was one of the best steaks he’d ever had. The food was excellent. The service impeccable. We highly recommend this steak house in a city with many good steak houses. More

The food was fantastic!! We started with the sausage and peppers appetizer which was so good - better then any other that we’ve had at other places. We shared a Cesar salad which also was very good nice flavor. The meals were very good. I had the seafood risotto which was very tasty and we also ordered a chicken dish which was so delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and went above and beyond. It was our first time at Frankie’s but we’ll definitely be back. Also loved that it’s a family restaurant and even the owner stop by the table and help where needed not too many places where you see that happening anymore. All around great place to go for a delicious meal in the burbs More

Discover Chicago

Winds whipping off Lake Michigan are no match for hungry Chicagoans in pursuit of the ultimate burger and a respite from brutal winters. Historically at the heart of the meat industry, the city’s slaughterhouses now house tony Michelin-starred restaurants, and deep-dish is just one of countless takes on Italian American staples in town. Arguably the American capital of molecular gastronomy, Chicago is at once a trendsetter and the capital of casual. Calling all carnivores.
