You can't go wrong with this place. From the ambiance, to the food, to the phenomenal staff and chefs, this place is top notch. You could tell the entire staff loves working here and it shows in the service they provide.
In regards to the omakase, the value is the best in comparison to other omakase offerings at other restaurants. That said, the quality of the fish was not sacrificed and is actually as good, if not better, than other omakases across Chicago. The Albacore, Toro, and Wagyutini were packed with flavor and I could have eaten those pieces all day. After the omakase, you could order additional pieces a la carte, which we did. Chef Tarn threw some top secret special ingredients on a couple pieces and took them to another level.
After that extraordinary experience, we had dessert and drinks at the bar besides the area we had the omakase, where Piper and Maddie chopped it up with us telling us about the company/restaurant, their experience there, and just about random things. That all just added to the great final touch to the experience we already had.
Needles to say, if you are looking for a unique dining experience with fantastic conversation with an exceptional staff, look no further. We will for sure be back and also try the other locations. FYI we (2 people) had the 12 course omakse, 5 total a la carte pieces, and a couple cocktails all for under $250...that is unheard of. That isn't even including the drinks and sake that were on the house. Do yourself a favor and just go lol.
