We started our meal with a straight bourbon for me and a Chardonnay for my wife as we perused the menu. Food began with an avocado and crab meat appetizer. For entries I had a perfectually prepared piece of halibut. My bride had glazed salmon in a sweet potato purée. We both felt that this was one of the best meals we have had in some time. Our waiter, Tom, was professional and amusing suggesting wines and food. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Milt's Barbecue for the Perplexed is a barbecue joint full of personality. This quirky restaurant is built on two things: good barbecue and building community. The first is achieved through Milt's slow smoking cooking process, which imparts the perfect amount of smoky flavor to the meat while making it incredibly tender. The second part, the community, is achieved by hosting a weekly speaker that comes in. It could be comedy, poetry or an inspirational speech, but it is always a free show for diners.
Milt's signature starter is the brisket chili fries, a spicy beef-based chili topped with tender brisket. The entrée options hit all of the standard barbecue dishes. From the smoker, guests can order smoked pulled pork, braised short ribs, a half BBQ chicken and BBQ ribs by either the half rack or full rack.More
Reclaimed Bar and Restaurant is a neighborhood place conveniently located at the corner of Western and Waveland between the North Center and Roscoe Village neighborhoods. Our place was designed around building something new and reclaiming our love and passion for good food, drink and music. We carefully selected local spirits and beer to provide a connection to the area we live in and to give back to the local community. All of our food is developed under the direction of Chef Craig Bell, co-owner of Reclaimed and owner of Big Hatt Gourmet a catering company specializing in experiential cooking. More

Then satisfy your appetite with main entrees that include items like a lamb burger, pan-seared salmon and butternut squash risotto. The lunch menu has many of the same options, plus a variety of sandwiches.
