Wow. What an amazing time. The space is unique, the design gorgeous. We weren't rushed. The chef brought out each course and explained them in detail including the greens grown in their garden behind the building. The wine pairings were perfect. Ironside Bar and Galley is a sports bar that serves creative comfort fare and drinks in hip nautical-inspired settings. Executive chef Jim August supervises an appealing menu that features innovative pub grub and seafood dishes. Choose from over a dozen craft beers on tap, and an even wider selection of bottled beers and value-driven wines. This restaurant also serves a lavish brunch over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Alongside its bi-level dining area, Ironside Bar and Gallery features a separate dining room, a cozy patio and an intimate basement space that can be used for private events. The sports bar has close to two dozen flatscreen televisions spread across its dining area, making it an ideal pick for catching up on the game with drinks.
Porkchop is a restaurant and bar that dishes out an urban interpretation of a Southern backwoods experience. It is an unapologetically unpretentious neighborhood party spot serving gourmet Southern comfort food and BBQ, and featuring an innovative ‘lowbrow’ bar program with some of the world’s top whiskeys. Porkchop serves brunch, lunch, dinner and latenight on Randolph Street, and provides service for all three meal periods and late into the evening at its Hyde Park location.
