The concepts boasts 3 floors offering a lively, buzzy, Manhattan style surrounding, including private dining and contemporary heated smoking area. The interior is mirrored to match the stylish elegance of its sister restaurant in Cork with intricate floor tiling, pewter style bar, cosy booths and intimate lighting.
Like Cork, the menu consists of premium steaks and quality seafood, an extensive drinks list with cocktails, new world beers and a vast wine list.
Both Cornstore buildings were selected because of their historic presence and the belief that the old and new can be successfully combined to create an old style feel with a modern ambiance.
Eat here again on Friday. Again myself and my friend went with the egg fried noodles with chicken and side order of chicken.
The sauce the noodles and the vegetables and chicken were amazing. We have already booked to return for lunch in couple weeks.
It’s always such a pleasure to dine at the Cornstore in Limerick. Looking forward already the next time
Even though we said in the open table reservation that this was a special birthday dinner , the restaurant did not seem to know anything about this
Excellent experience and outstanding service. The restaurant is very ambient.
Really nice place !! Great buzz!!! Toilet upstairs needs attention!!
Enjoyed our Family event .Food is delious
Staff are Friendly and accommodated . A great evening. Thanks .
Haven't been to the Cornstore Limerick, in quiet a while and I must say it's even better than before.
The decor has been updated and the menu was superb, we had such a delicious meal, I could not fault it.
Also had some cocktails ..... amazing, my husband very particular about his Bloody Mary's, the barman made it perfectly, we also had some non alcoholic cocktails and they were great.
Booked our table online- very easy and straight forward. Lunch for four adults.Had a special request which was addressed. Staff super friendly and attentive. Food was piping hot and delicious. Desserts are worth saving some room for. Would recommend.
The place was lovely, but far, far too loud. It was really difficult to have a conversation and to enjoy the meal when there as music blaring and groups of people literally screaming.
Glass of prosecco was €11, food average. Service was excellent though
I booked for my husband's 40th birthday I paid some of the bill before we arrived witch made it easy for me as I was paying for a large group. It's a little noisy with the music they should just turn it down a little bit so you're not raising your voice to speak to people across your table. The food was amazing and we had Helen as our server she was excellent, extremely attentive and friendly. 100% should be in charge of training staff or promoted to hostess management or something because nothing was too much trouble. Thanks Helen.
Again, my visit to the Cornstore was absolutely splendid. The only thing that surpassed the great food was the excellent service. Highly recommended!
What can I say. The egg fried noodles in cornStore limerick are to die for. They are our go to dish when we dine there.
You can have with chicken prawns or vegetarian.
We had lunch on Friday 3rd May.
We be back again soon. Must try another dish but the egg fried noodles are so yummy.
Mixed feelings, a lot of little things not as advertised.
Fab fillet steak but not worth €33, advertised served with chips or salad or cream potato, so went for the chips. Ordered side dish of creamed spinach, and onion rings.
Got steak on spinach. Side order of spinach also came but was not cream as advertised but sautéed, no chips came so reordered and got charged.
Ordered cocktail dessert midnight espresso but was missing the Baileys ( the color gave it away)I brought this to attention of barman, who first told me it wasn’t meant to be in it, but was corrected by another staff member who said they would make me another one, but The experience for me was spoiled as felt like a moaning minni for stuff that should be right in the first place. Sorry but not sure I would rush back.
Had a dinner for my wifes 40th, the food was perfect and had something for everyone. We found that the staff could not do enough to make the occasion extra special.
We were treated to a very special experience by Jason and the c at Cornstore.
The meal was fantastic a usual
My friends and I met for brunch during Easter Sunday and it had a nice and quiet ambience with good food. However, the service was a little lacking as the waiters/waitresses initially kept coming up to us for our first orders but when we had our food, there wasn't anyone checking in if we needed other things.
Wonderful evening beautiful food fabulous restaurant 😁
Had lunch with work friend/colleague on Friday in cornStore limerick.
We dine there regularly for lunch
We both had the egg fried noodles with chicken and sczhaun sauce. We both love this dish and we have every time we go there. We keep saying we try something different but when we get to resturamt we always order the stir fry noodles.
They are absolutely delicious. With exception of chinese and asian resturamts very fee Irish/European restaurants in limerick offer noodles as a dish. (Usudlly potatoes and chips)
CornStore offer these noodles as a main course is thumps up in my book and my friend who loves the egg fried noodles also.
This dish is offered with chicken or vegetarian.
CornStore keep up good work and we see he soon in limerick for more egg fried noodles with chicken and sczhaun sauce
Both had the Roast Vegetable soup.It was a bit bland and lukewarm at best. The mains were the best part of the meal. Both the cod and chicken dishes were imaginative and very tasty. My chocolate cake was rather dense and heavy but the sticky toffee pudding was very nice.Service was excellent and the atmosphere was gud despite being seated near a rather loud large group.
Reserved a table online only an hour before going, the staff were friendly and polite and informative of the menu. Ordered a bottle of rose and a cocktail (pornstar martini was delicious) and our mains - fillet steak and the stir fry were both presented beautifully and tasted just as good. I then had the chocolate fondant dessert which was light and chocolatey but not sickening, another winner. Honestly can’t reccommend this restaurant enough to anyone in Limerick! Best meal I’ve had in ages
Delicious food, served quick friendly and professional staff. Great experience!
Love this place. The food is always top class especially, the chicken wings. Staff are very friendly. If I had one bone to pick it would be regarding the loss of the Cornstore Collins. It was their variation on the Tom Collins cocktail and it was amazing. Very sad that they no longer offer this drink, major loss. :(
Busy restaurant. Beautiful food, very tasty and well presented. Friendly attentive staff.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and excellent service
Very friendly and attentive staff with you all the way but never in the way. There were 4 of us and we all had different dishes and they were all delicious.
Aishling was superb.. a joy, bubbly, attentive & had real charisma.. the food was lovely & we really enjoyed our evening in the corn store.. thank you.. Ruth Clarke
Lovely staff and great ambience. Food was relatively expensive but great quality and delicious.
Good food. Good vegetarian options and very tasty fish dishes.
We were in Limerick for a concert and had a short window for dinner. The waiter helped us enjoy the meal without feeling rushed, but he sure was speedy. The food was delicious, the menu robust and the ambiance superb. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
Always a great location for a business dinner. The variety on the menu generally means that everyone will find something to suit their taste. Service is always friendly. Also has a nice bar which is useful for getting everyone together ahead of going to the table.
Yes as it was a lovely setting, great atmosphere and service. Excellent food. Will definitely be back!
Exciting menu great choices I had the crab creme brulee it was amazing
Food was excellent, staff were very nice and the service was great. Only problem was the table, tiny table squeezed into a walkway, felt like an after taught stuck in to fit more customers.
Great food and choice. Service was great and the atmosphere very enjoyable. We were last to leave
Myself and friends enjoyed out lunch in cornerstone limerick on Friday 1st March 2019.
We went 1 burger and 2 chicken fried noodles. Everything absolutely beautiful and very tasty. We return soon
We really enjoyed our evening with you. The hosts, bartender and waiter were excellent. The food was also delicious. The only downside was that I ordered a blue steak, it was medium, however despite this the steak was delicious. We also felt that the surf and turf main was a little small, only 3 shrimp and a very thin fillet. The deserts were perfect.
Overall very satisfied with our evening. Thank you.
Overall I would recommend the cornstore with one hesitation - price. The wine and food were very expensive and unfortunately the bill at the end created a bit a dampener on what was otherwise a lovely evening out with friends.
Really good food, the table service was excellent.
Once again an amazing meal great service I would recommend Corn Store to anyone with no fear of them being disappointed.
