    Came for a birthday meal last night. Service was extremely prompt and staff were pleasant. Drinks were delicious. Chateaubriand was amazing. Perfectly cooked. Very reasonably priced for the quality and plenty for two. Accompaniments could possibly use some more finesse. Starters were perfect!

    Lovely atmosphere, food very good. Was a bit shocked to be charged 9 euro for a very small glass of wine. Overall very good, will be back.

    Had an amazing night, good very fresh and the Christmas decor was next to none! However, when we arrived we weren’t told that you were ‘out of the burger’ until my partner asked for it as his main. This was a bit disappointing as he was really looking forward to it and we were not notified as we sat down. Other than that, great night and will be returning.

    Another great dining experience but it was noticeable that they were understaffed and our server must have been new with little training. We were seated but left to wait 10 minutes before receiving a menu. Our table and an adjacent one were not advised of items on the menu which were unavailable which of course we both attempted to order in vain. Otherwise, the food quality was as good as always and beyond an inexperienced server, it was a great night out.

    We arrived looked lovely mix up with table. We had 3/4 servers,food was absolutely great, and then we were asked to leave our table which I found quite unsettling we had not finished but had to leave the table. Staff were quite nice friendly, helpful and did everything possible to let us finish but no we felt we had to go.

    The starters were better than the mains very dissatisfied with the steaks all asked medium rare the rib eye and filet were med rare but my sirloin was almost blue the truffle chips and onion ring were cold and overcooked very dissatisfied alot of money spent

    We just Love the Cornstore. It's always a great night out and as eve, excellent food Lovely options on all courses, which is great if your meeting with with friends or family, there is something for everyone. We both had filet steak which was melt in the mouth & the lemon posset dessert I choose was one of the nicest things I've treated myself to all year. I can't recommend the Cornstore Cork enough, you'll always leave with a smile, having had a wonderful time.

    Really enjoyed our meal here. We were seated on arrival, the staff were most attentive and supplied us with water and menus immediately. Once our orders were taken, our meals arrived promptly. The food was delicious, the menu was inventive and varied and catered for all tastes. Staff were attentive and friendly and all in all we had a lovely evening.

    Yet again, we enjoyed a tasty, well prepared meal - served by attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pornstar Martinis delicious and the attention to detail of Richard - Manager made the evening so special. Even the rendition of Happy Birthday was in key !! Thank you.

    Buzzing spot. Serious amount of choice on menu - nearly too much between a la carte, set menu and specials menu. Went a la carte in the end. Had ribs and paté to start. Ribs were amazing but probably could have done with another rib or two on the plate at the price point. Paté was delicate in texture and taste. Accompanying bread was kinda standard toast so, again, might expect something more special on that front. We shared a chateau briande for the main which was very tasty and dessert was apple tatin with some espresso cocktails. Overall really enjoyed the meal but it's easy to rack up the bill if you're not careful so something to watch if you're trying to keep the purse strings tight!

    Has been one of my favourite places to eat for a long time, our recent experience was a stark contrast to what we have been used to. Food came out far too quickly, never a good sign - it’s hard to tell at what time it was actually cooked. Duck leg was far past the point of overcooked and had presumably been on a hot plate for hours. Starter was a similar situation. Credit where credit is due, the wine was excellent and we can give the porchetta itself a 10/10, beautiful dish. No issues with the front of house themselves but we had very limited interaction with them. I cannot tell if this is an isolated incident but I’m hoping there can be some sort of improvement while we still have the pleasure of visiting you.

    Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere, delicious food and the staff are welcoming and enthusiastic - bizarrely it remains very slow in taking drinks orders and delivering to the table.

    We had a lovely experience dining at Cornstore on our final night in Cork. The pre fixe menu was amazing and we will be recommending to anyone else going to visit!

    Always consistent and excellent quality. Chateaubriand to die for. Service top notch. Charming restaurant. Only downside is the acoustics on upper floor. Can be difficult to have a clear conversation. My preference would be ground level.

    Found it overly expensive 36 euro for fillet steak, not excluding sides which cost 5euro per portion...also was charged 2 euro for extra pepper sauce for my 36 euro fillet

    Had an amazing meal yesterday at lunchtime, the food was beyond delicious, service couldn’t have been better. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Would highly recommend as a place to eat!

    Food was really lovely but...clarity on the menu regarding what's included in the main course would be helpful. I had the Beef Bourguignon. I asked did it come with potatoes and was told I would need to order potatoes separately. I did but when my meal arrived it had baby potatoes included. Others at the table had the Fillet Steak but potatoes & veg need to be ordered separately making it quite expensive, Overall the food was delicious and we will be back but we will be more careful with our selection!
