   The stuffed mushrooms on the appetizer menu are awesome. We shared the Ribeye, potatoes au gratin and mushrooms. A were good. Pecan Pie at the end was fantastic.

   Our waiter was wonderful, but the food was very underwhelming for New Orleans. Really cool atmosphere. Feels like a scene in a mob movie. However, it is not located in the safest part of town. I definitely wouldn't walk. We ordered the filet, spinach, stuffed mushrooms, and potatoes. Drinks were serviceable. It's worth experiencing, but I won't go back with so many good restaurants throughout the city.

   Parking was great off the street with a security guard. Even though it was a busy day our reservations was on time. We were seated and our waiter was there to take our drink orders. Then he took our orders . I had the filet and I ordered it medical raw and it came out medium. It was still very good and my husband ordered a ribeye and it was over cooked, also. But his was still good so we didn’t say anything. Our side dishes were spinach au gratin , potato au gratin and garlic bread, which very outstanding. The service was excellent, food was delicious and I had a great Mother’s Day

   Recommended by a friend that went there with his dad very frequently, growing up in New Orleans. Kevin, Very nice waiter. Food out very quick. Great stuffed mushrooms. Excellent ribeye steaks, lyonnaise potatoes, bordelaise, sautéed spinach. Everything was great. Good parking. The drink list was very varied and complete. Definitely loved the Starocevko Bock beer. Already planning our return. Will try next the Wellington and the Tomahawk. Highly recommend.

    I am a DOORMAN At a Distinguished hotel OMNI.. I check out places to send ppl.. I wouldn’t recommend this place.. Steaks we’re over cooked.. waiter never offered more service at all.. C-

    First time coming to this restaurant after being recommended multiple times over the years. The old fashioned cocktail was excellent, the staff was above and beyond friendly and the food was impeccable. I would encourage anyone to eat here with no hesitation.

    Hadn’t been in nearly 40 years. Wanted to experience one more time before I moved away from New Orleans. Everything I remembered. Steak flavorful with lots of butter. Staff attentive yet unobtrusive. Would definitely recommend for a true New Orleans old line steakhouse.

    Some things just never change, and in the case of this place, that is a very good thing. Three of us shared the porterhouse for 2 and were quite full.

    The food was excellent as always, and the waiter made sure to concentrate on keeping everyone involved with the experience. He went out of his way to entertain our 6 year old daughter and even talked her in to eating onion rings(which are great).

    Great meal. CCSH always comes through. The filet and strip were cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious. Our waiter was very good. He knew exactly when to come back and check on us. My wife and I will definitely keep coming back.

    I am so glad we chose this restaurant! Our waitress, Trinetta, was wonderful. We got a quaint booth to ourselves. I'd definitely recommend for any type of group--families, couples, etc. We will be back!!
