    We had a fabulous afternoon tea/coffee yesterday for my birthday . I had a delicious vegan option. My husband had the vegetarian option. A tasty celery soup & sandwiches to start & tempting cakes all handmade. Couldn’t manage the lovely scones but we had them to take away. This was truly a memorable afternoon. I would recommend this experience without hesitation. All served by the lovely Petra, nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

    The food was good, as usual, as was the service. The only problem, which wasn't really the fault of the staff, was that a couple with two dog was on the table next to mine; one of the dogs was barking continually despite the attempts of the owner to keep it quiet. instead of e.g. taking the dog back to their car, they kept it with them for the meal.
