The food was top-notch… From the oysters and the bread, Wagyu carpaccio and unique deviled eggs (one with halibut, one with fig and blue cheese..)… to the New York strip with mushroom sauce and the flourless chocolate torte.  The interior of the Ebbitt room is exquisite... warm, romantic, and intimate. To make the ambience complete, Pierre Miller did a beautiful job on piano. I tried the duck with apricot sauce because I wanted something I don’t cook and enjoyed the different flavor sweet rather than savory.
