As usual it did not disappoint. We did not have apps however one of our friends had the New England clam chowder and he loved it. Two of us had the maple mustard glazed salmon which is always delicious. The piece of salmon was so big that they both had enough to take home for a second meal. David had a chicken dish that was delicious and he also had enough to take home. I had the burger special for this weeks featured state of Iowa. My burger was a double smash burger with loads of sautéed onions. It was delicious. It came with a side of cheesy potato wedges that were home made and delicious. Yesterday there was a pre-Halloween festival on Main St in Bayshore. At this festival there was a chicken wing contest. Not surprisingly Roadtrips smoked wings won. Phil, the owner was there for the contest and takes great pride in the quality of their food and the complete experience they offer their customers. We have yet to experience a bad meal at Roadtrip. The next state to be featured starting this Wednesday is Massachusetts. By the way, the desserts here are amazing. Sue and I shared mini cinnamon donuts with marshmallow and chocolate drizzled over them. They were warm, gooey and decadent. Good thing we shared. Our friends shared a piece of cheesecake with chocolate and peanut butter drizzled over the top. They said it was “over the top delicious”. You have to get there and check this place out. Great food, nice people, a great vibe and an owner that puts his all into making your experience memorable. Can’t wait to go back. — with Roadtrip Bayshore at Roadtrip Bayshore .More infoRoadtrip$$$$• American• Bay Shore•4.5

We were able to get the preferred seating specified on the reservations in a timely fashion - which is HUGE on a Friday night! Also, the kitchen accommodated my gluten allergy. And, the music was cool!More infoBig Daddy's$$$$• American• Massapequa•4.9
