Best Caribbean Restaurants in New Malden

Visited Palms Caribbean Fusion 8th August 2026 with my daughters to celebrate the youngest ones Birthday. On entering we were greeted warmly and shown to our seats. The atmosphere was nice and staff very attentive. We ordered cocktails which had a good kick to them, the bartender was informative as to which cocktails we might enjoy. Starter we had the Callaloo spring rolls and a shared platter with pumpkin croquettes, chicken wings king prawns, and of course some more callaloo spring rolls which came with mayonnaise dips and sweet chilli dip. We thoroughly enjoyed. The mains we had Oxtail with rice n peas with coleslaw and my oldest daughter had Mac n Cheese, good sized portions, couldn’t fault the food at all. To round off the Bartender put on a birthday tune for my daughter and presented her with a cheesecake with a candle to which people in the restaurant were singing along to. This was a surprise for her. The service the ambiance and friendliness of staff was on point . A very enjoyable evening and we will return in the near future. Shout out to Gemma (the founder with her mother Marva) who came over to check how we were finding the food etc. She has done extremely well running this restaurant in her first year and hope she continues to prosper. It’s fantastic to have a Caribbean Restaurant in Beckenham . With so many Restaurants in Beckenham that are Mediterranean, Italian , Greek and British it’s great to have a stand alone Caribbean Fusion.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food and portion size you could not complain about at all. The rum punch was a lovely addition and this roast was definitely value for money. I will be returning
