Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Platte City

Girls night dinner was successful. Great food, conversation and company. Gram and Dunn never disappoints!

Interesting wine list and homemade pasta! Very attentive staff.

We enjoyed everything about our dinner at LandShark in Margaritaville. We made a reservation online and were seated early. Live music began at 7:00 and enjoyed this as well! Service was excellent. Our server was Keith, and he stayed on top of all of our needs and was polite and efficient. Our appetizers came quickly, as did our entrees. We opted for parmesan garlic wings and their homemade chips with cheese, bacon and sour cream, then for dinner 2 of us had the Philly cheesesteak and 2 had burgers. Fries were an up charge from the homemade chips (both were good). We also enjoyed the molten lava cake with ice cream. Portions were generous and everything was delicious. It was a bit pricey compared to other nicer places nearby at Legends, but it was also better service and food than most of those places. Looking forward to going back!

I had 3 business meal meetings here this past week and the service was excellent. The waiter was attentive to our needs without interrupting or going overboard. Food was surprisingly good for a hotel lobby restaurant. Would definitely recommend again. The only drawback is the seating area is a little small leaving a little more hustle and bustle when the hotel lobby is very active in the morning.
