Best Contemporary American Restaurants in West Point

For our wedding anniversary, my wife and I had dinner at Moderne Barn. We each started with an Aperol Spritz. We shared the Whipped Burrata for our appetizer. For our entrees, my wife had the Barn Salad and I had the Wasabi Pea Crusted Tuna. We shared the Chocolate S’mores Crème Brulee for our dessert. All the food and drink were perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. Our server Hank was absolutely wonderful and very attentive to all our questions and requests. We will certainly be returning to Moderne Barn very soon.

This is my 3rd time here in 3 months! the experience is always 10 out of 10! Food on point, service on point, and the views are great. A little bit on the pricey side for the portions, but I will continue to come because the food has always been worth it! So far I’ve had their hot buttery lobster rolls (best I’ve ever had), chicken sandwich and truffle fries, lobster pasta, and I had a taste of my friends salmon. ALL delicious! I always get the oysters and/or oyster Rockefeller as an app. the oyster Rockefeller is out of this world! This place is a gem.
