We happened to be the only guests in the restaurant at the time, so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere, but for us that actually worked perfectly. We were looking for a quiet late lunch/early dinner before heading out later, so the calm setting suited us very well. In terms of value, the prices were about what I would expect given the cost of eating out nowadays. Beef cooked to perfection was equaled by the most amazing vegetables and crispy roast potatoes. Lashing of extra gravy served separately as was the cauliflower cheese.
