Delicious food and excellent service, particularly the waiter from Texas, who was friendly and helpful. We had the pre-theatre menu, with a couple of sides, which was good value and plenty enough food. We’ll certainly eat there again.

we had seats at the bar overlooking the kitchen and was fantastic. Staff very friendly excellent sommelier and food was exceptional. It's quite a small busy restaurant but well worth it.

We arrived early but were given a lovely table on a mezzanine overlooking the Hotel lobby. Our waiter was very friendly and did all he could to make us welcome. The food was outstanding particularly in flavour and presentation and the portions were manageable. We both had a memorable lunch before attending the Lion King. We hope to return in the future

Second visit in seven months, and just as heavenly. Signature menu, seven courses, served by angels in disguise. By the last one I was in seventh heaven and I left floating on a cloud... The beetroot and smoked eel were love at first bite, the caviar crowned the Cornish mackerel with tiny pearls, and its spiced harissa nage rippled in applause. The sesame khobz with salted Irish butter made me silently apologise to every bread I’ve ever eaten. The Orkney scallop “Marocaine” tasted like a sunset that had been taught to sing, and the Yorkshire duck was so tender it practically surrendered, and I accepted its terms. Then the Mouneyrac pear with baked kefir and argan oil tiptoed in, like a gentle breeze on a hot summer day. Head Sommelier Piotr, with a quiet smile, had suggested to me a glass of 2023 Santorini Assyrtiko, Ancestral Vines 34, that would give some of the best Chablis a run for their money. And then the "clou du spectacle" : a 2020 Japanese Syrah from the Mariko vineyard in Nagano arrived like a secret from the other side of the world; my duck and I were speechless. As a final surprise, Piotr, the Paganini of the cellar, whispered a very rare, velvety Barolo Chinato into my glass, steeped in herbs and secrets; it enveloped the English Saffron dessert like a warm blanket on a cold night in Piedmont. What a memorable evening! My advice: choose the seven course menu, put yourself in Piotr’s hands, and enjoy the journey! You won't regret it.

    The Hare and Billet never disappoints! Lunch was great as usual, the Seabass is back on the menu and it was cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch as always and it is mine and Lola’s favourite pub! Thank you guys, see you very soon!

    The Marksman rarely disappoints. The Orchard Sour was the perfect autumn drink. The salad of endive with what I can only describe as walnut hummus and blue cheese-outstanding. The roasted pollack was perfectly cooked with a lovely sauce. The elevated bangers and mash was so good it will be hard to go back to ordinary pub food. Bread is so good with or without butter. Great service too. One of our regular spots when we’re in London
