    Outstanding neighborhood gem. Well paced no rush service from a very attentive server. The chef was very accommodating for requested menu item changes. The menu of the day featured very seasonal fresh fish and veggies. We had a wonderful meal. It was perfect.

    My wife, our friends and I have been regulars at La Chaumiere for decades and for many good reasons that become more important every year as inferior new restaurants open and others cut corners. As with our quiet, leisurely lunch with a friend yesterday, La Chaumiere's provincial atmosphere, friendly professional service, excellent traditional French dishes that are always very fresh and tasty, and a well selected, fairly priced wine list, makes for a dependably enjoyable experience. We will return soon.
