    Correctly made Campari & soda to start. Server reminded others in party of Wednesday discount on bottles of wine. Pinot Grigio reported to be excellent. Eggplant meatball appetizer superb. Wonderful red sauce came with it. Special - risotto with almonds, figs, speck - terrific - nice creamy texture and great balance between salty and sweet. Gnocchi and pollo margherita reported to be excellent. Pistachio gelato for dessert was yummy - chock full of pistachio. Service was great. Owner/chef came out and walked the floor. Aside from noisy group celebrating a birthday, pretty much a perfect dining experience.

    This restaurant is in our "go-to" in Mineola. We all took the summer prix fixe. There were a lot of choices and the portion for the main was very generous. For an extra $5 order the cheesecake - oh, so good! As always, delicious food and welcoming service.
