Best Modern Latin American Restaurants in Napa

This was the perfect location for my wife’s 40th birthday. There were 7 of us and the environment was perfect to catch up (we could hear each other iykyk) We shared almost every type of tapa which were all great. The drinks were amazing and there is obvious skilled mixology that goes into them. The service was top notch and we just all had a great time escaping to the wonderful environment of Sobre Mesa. It was my third time ant Sobre Mesa and the quality of food, drink, and service has been excellent every time.

A really nice dining experience - interesting and excellent food. Great service with everyone helping out. Definitely a trek if you live on the peninsula as we do (we took BART and then it is a 15 min walk), so it won't be a regular place, but we will be back. We went for a birthday during the week and scored the lower price for the prix fixe - something they do that I think is super cool. If you sit at the counter you can do al a carte - which is more or less the same menu with different portion sizes. Finally, if you have the option, try the arepa with tuna. I think it was the best thing on the menu and one of the best things that I've eaten in a restaurant in some time!

Terrific experience. Delicious food, fabulous margaritas, and lovely service!
