Best Modern Southern American Restaurants in White House

We had tickets to a concert at CMA theater in downtown Nashville and were looking for an alternative place to eat other than downtown Nashville . Coming from Clarksville, Ember and Oak was perfect …Right off I 24 , plenty of parking,a varied menu and an attractive, warm ambiance with delicious food and delightful service provided by Christina!! We took advantage the Happy Hour menu since time was of the essence and enjoyed Pork Belly sliders,wings,zucchini fries and a harvest salad but,want to return for the 2 pound burger ! Our group was busy making plans of our return and with whom ! Weekend brunch or perhaps a weekend trip with the girls , staying in the nearby cottages? Lots of possibilities. We have discovered a gem and will return.The sooner the better !

Food was AMAZING!!! Had the girl dinner tower and Chicken curry and it was the best food I’ve had in a while. Will definitely come back soon !

My wife and I are out-of-towners. I reserved a table for two at Deacon's New South for Saturday October 24, 2026 only to learn this day was the restaurant's last day of operation. Despite the fact that all of the employees were going to be laid-off and Saturday was their last day, everyone was very cheerful and attentive. We felt sad for them. The food was really good. The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing. We wish the staff and especially our server, Hunter, good luck in the future.

Wow, I highly reccomend. I’ve lived here my whole life and this was the first time I’ve visited Stationairy! The historical building, clean, and beautiful. Service was lovely, everyone was so friendly. The food and the drinks were phenomenal! I will certainly be back!

Everything was delicious but especially the cornbread! Yummy! The hot ham and cheese could easily be split between two people!
