Best Continental Restaurants in Playa del Rey

My first time here and now one of my favorite restaurants. Amazing seafood creations, and the service was impeccable.

Afternoon tea in The Living Room at The Penninsula Beverly Hills was an exceptional experience. I took my friend to celebrate her birthday and it did not disappoint. We had such a lovely time. Service was attentive. They made us feel special as we were doted on during our time there. Overall, the food tasted delicious. The clotted cream and lemon curd were some of the best I've ever had. And the special touches like the glass of champagne/sparkling cider, strawberries and cream and extra dessert treat felt like a bonus even though it was included. There was also a harpist who played beautifully. It was definitely one of the best afternoon tea experiences I've had and I've had a few in London, New York as well as here in Los Angeles.

We had a prefixed, two course meal planned for a table of 11. We offered two choices for entree, and lo and behold everyone ordered the pan seared salmon, forbidden rice with kale dish! And EVERYONE agreed it was excellent. Chef made us two delicious dessert platters to share, both were gluten free and you would never know! A chocolate cherry flourless beauty and a more delicate one with mango. Wine selection was lovely and the service was friendly and efficient. If you have a larger group, the restaurant can definitely handle it and you will not be disappointed.
