I’ve been to several Michelin starred restaurants though this was the first in Germany. The decor is austere and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, particularly for someone that does not speak German. Each dish was thoughtful and delicious. The vegetarian foie gras was surprisingly delightful. Each dish was wunderbar right from the fresh, ash-colored bread to the after-dessert truffles. I would love to visit again.

I’ve been here twice now while studying abroad from the United States both times I’ve been here the service food and ambiance and overall aesthetic of the restaurant are amazing in the four months I’ve spent in Germany this is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve been too I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for a good place to take the family or to go for a romantic dinner with your significant other.

Marx and Schneider is a lovely neighborhood gem. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed place with good food and welcoming service.
