    A delightful treat! Cannot fault the food or drinks! Great selection of vegetarian sandwiches and loved the garden themed afternoon tea sweet selection too! We did however have to ask for our scones as the sweet cakes arrived before the scones

    We had a lovely time enjoying high tea at the Park Room in the JW Marriott Grosvener House. The theme of the tea was a celebration of the Beatrix Potter books (160th Anniversary). While a pianist played some lovely piano music, we were seated at a comfortable table overlooking Hyde Park. We started with some champagne and finger sandwiches (our two favorites were the beef with horseradish, and the tarragon chicken). The tea selection was quite extensive, and our server Pratigya helped us chose some delicious teas. Next, we enjoyed the Beatrix Potter themed pastries and scones. The attention to detail in each pastry was truly a work of art -- not to mention delicious. It was our Anniversary, and both our servers (Pratigya and Herlyn) did a fantastic job of being attentive, helpful and so courteous. It was such a lovely way to celebrate our Anniversary. I would highly recommend this high tea experience.
