Excellent food, excellent live acoustic music, and an excellent vibe with the gas fire pits (keeping everyone warm on a chilly evening) on the patio made for a great first visit to Godfrey's. We will return soon - to enjoy more salad entrees, more pizza and more of the desserts. Godfrey's is a terrific addition to the "downtown" Falls Church dining scene.

Nice new neighborhood place! It's very casual with friendly service. Small menu but very good food. I got the steak frites, which was very good. (If you want medium rare you might want to ask for medium.) The gougeres are large and excellent. The Hugo Spritz was great too. I'll be back.

I was staying at the Marriott AC hotel that Seven is connected to and decided to try it for dinner. Sat at the bar and enjoyed an amazing meal. As it was on the later side, I skipped the appetizer and went right to the entree of short ribs with glazed carrots and potato puree. The ribs were fork tender and delicious, the potato purée creamy and buttery, and the carrots perfectly cooked. The entree was followed up by a comforting flan for dessert. My server Jason was very knowledgeable and made outstanding recommendations about both food and drink. My dinner was complemented by an Angel’s Envy old fashioned and a good California Cabernet Sauvignon.
