Best French Canadian Restaurants in Chestermere

We loved it! Will was our server, and he was helpful courteous and kind. Food and drinks were great. We enjoyed “happy hour” tacos and beer… highly recommend the baja fish taco, chicken Caesar taco (that one was a huge surprise and prob my fave), shrimp taco and pumpkin taco. We first completed the tunnel mountain trail and were dreaming of beers and tacos during our hike… magpie did not disappoint!

The food was very good and our server was great! We went for my birthday supper. However, since the restaurant is small and our table was close to the door and right along the aisle, it was at times noisy and drafty. People standing next to us waiting for their table, people going in and out to pick up pizza, servers coming in and out to go to the outside patio. The desert I wanted wasn't available, but to my pleasant surprise, they gave me a loaf of sourdough walnut cranberry loaf for my birthday!

It was a busy Sunday morning so I’m glad we made a reservation as there was 8 of us. We had a very attentive and friendly server. With it being busy we knew it wasn’t going to be a fast breakfast, but we were busy catching up with our friends and family. The food was good and it was a relaxing get together.

Great place, tasty food, amazing service
