Best French Restaurants in Temple City

The original booking was for the VIP Roof Garden experience, but the weather conditions meant that we had to be served in the main restaurant. The service throughout our evening was nothing short of excellent and this significantly added to the enjoyable experience. The old saying is that 'you get what you pay for' and there is no better example of this than our fantastic experience on the evening.

Hubby and I decided to try Massilia after an evening at the Opera. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the way we were greeted when we first walked in, to our server’s attentiveness and warmth, and the delicious food and drinks. In a time where good service is a fleeting concept, it was refreshing to see that some establishments still care about making you feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. Also a very pleasant ambiance overall. We will definitely be coming back.

We love this place. Feels authentically French Moroccan like you’re at a cool little place in the south of France with legit French style couscous salad, that we love. We also had the couscous entree and the chicken tagine, both bursting with flavor. The passionfruit lime pie was literally heaven on earth! We love the ambiance with a lovely patio full of fruit trees. The inside bar is quite loud but looked really fun for the young crowd. If you want to actually talk, ask for the far corners of the patio. We were there on a Friday night so maybe the DJ is not as loud on the weeknights and in the early evening, but we still had a great time. They were just a bit overwhelmed when we arrived so initially the service was slow but our waiter was lovely and once the food started, it all came out in a timely manner and it was all delicious.

A beautifully prepared and presented, perfectly portioned multi course menu which focused on the quality, seasonality and locality of ingredients. Chef was personable, exceptionally knowledgeable and precise in a way that speaks to both care and experience. An experience I may book a flight just to have again (yes, even in this economy 😊) It was truly a joy and I look forward to returning.

We had a lovely lunch and our server was very attentive without being overbearing! She saw to our every need and took very good care of us! She made sure we were able to have our meal and make it to our show on time.
