- DDavidGoldPittsburgh / Western PA •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe Commoner is always an excellent experience. We were there for our anniversary and as usual, they treated us spectacularly. Service is top-notch. The atmosphere we happen to think is very cool, a kind of retro meets downtown. Food is always well above par. The halibut was really outstanding as was the crab dip as an appetizer. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. More infoThe Commoner$$$$• American• Downtown•4.6
- RRobertGoldPittsburgh / Western PA •13 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Oct 2026Perfect Sunday morning experience. We got there early and it was on the quieter side, which was nice. The manager really made us feel valued and welcomed. He made sure to greet us when we came in and also when we left. He made me feel like our business was valued! Our server was great and the food was all good. Would return!More infoButterjoint$$$$• French American• Oakland•4.8
