The setting is fantastic. Wonderful surroundings. The food is authentic, natural and well prepared. Staff was helpful but was not too happy about providing us English menus….we had to find them for ourselves.

Fritz and Felix, inside Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, is essentially a steakhouse as Americans would understand it it, with beef tenderloin and different sizes of entrecote (rib-eye) on offer. Everything is grilled on a live-fire grill at the center, and beef is the star. Whole grilled fish is also offered, along with venison, spatchcock chicken and saddle of veal. Preparation is top-notch, service superb, wine outstanding. If you are looking for traditional German eating, this is not the restaurant for you, but you will find all you want in a grill here, with many elegant touches that befit a great European hotel.

Our restaurant in Haus Zauberflöte stands for honest and freshly cooked culinary classics of Baden and France, some of which we serve in a classic style, but also with new interpretations. Here you will find our fixed restaurant menu, which includes both year-round classics and seasonal dishes. The menu is adapted every season, four times a year. When it comes to wine, the focus is also clearly on Baden. We aim to keep our service casual yet competent, adapted to the occasion. We lunched on the terrace. The food was excellent and so was the German Pinot Noir. Very friendly waiters who spoke mainly German but interacted in English as well. We will definitely be back for the Boeuf bourgignon!
