Best Italian Restaurants in Laie

Excellent in all ways: food, service and ambience.

Great food, excellent service. We tried it out a few years ago, and I was skeptical because it’s on a hotel property. But, the food and service has never disappointed me. Our waiter, Giuseppe, was excellent!

Every time we visit Honolulu, it is our tradition to spend our last night having dinner at Orchids. We love going before sunset and the music drifting into Orchids from House Without a Key next door is an added bonus. The view of Diamond Head, the beach, and ocean can't be beat. The service was impeccable as our waiter and waitress, and bus boy, seemed to move in a rhythm that ensured that our dining experience was relaxed. The food is beyond amazing and the plating presentation is picture perfect. We started with the the Kona Kampachi Crudo, Burrata Cheese, and Lobster Bisque. Yum! Next, it was difficult to choose which fish since every dish sounded so good and my daughter and I ended up choosing the Hawaiian Sea Bass that tasted so fresh that if the chef said he just went out to catch it we would have believed him. My son-in-law chose the chef's Lasagnette dish of which we were told was a special family recipe handed down. We ended our meal with Halekulani's Signature Coconut Cake which we could not pass up. If you are looking for a taste of Aloha and the Aloha Spirit, Orchids at the 'House Befitting Heaven' (Halekulani) is where you need to be.

Always enjoy dining at Ruscello’s! My favorite starter is the Lime Cilantro Tacos - so delicious! My favorite salad is the Lime Cilantro Salad with chicken. The service is great and the servers are very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Mahalo!

We had the best lunch there. Food was great and the fish and calamari was so fresh. Everyone enjoyed their selection. Harley was an awesome server and made the experience memorable.
