Best Italian Restaurants in Springfield

Went here with some girlfriends for a girl’s night out. We ended up sharing the calamari, the yummy cheese wheel pasta, Chicken parm, brocolinni, tiramisu, and a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious and there are def other items on the menu that I want to try so I plan on coming back with my husband next time. Highly recommended!

Our server James was amazing. I was surprised to find out it was only his fourth or fifth shift on the floor. He did such a wonderful job. Admittedly, he was slammed. At one point I think he got three tables at once. I used to serve so I keep an eye on these things. we never felt rushed. the food turned out perfect. He even kept my hot water with lemon bowl. Which I know is always annoying when you’re a server. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the specials and the menu. I have been coming to Landinis for over 10 years. I usually sit at the bar but made an exception last night because the bar was packed. Glad I got James. 

First time dining at Mia’s. Our waiter Ricardo was excellent! We tried the gf pizza with mushrooms, garlic bread, and barrata as appetizers and all were amazing! We had a party of 6 and each tried a different pasta dish. Everything came out great! Tried the doughnut holes and gf chocolate cake for dessert. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Smoked old fashioned was nice. Wine list was thin and seems a bit overpriced at the low end. Spaghetti was lacking salt (which was not in table) but the chicken Marsala and the Caesar salad with anchovies were both good.

The food here is insane! From the bread to the olive oil and olive dip they give to go with it…so good. I had the ravioli and my husband the lasagna and they were outstanding! This is a new favorite I now have. The only thing I don’t love, but it is just what is, is the closeness of tables and noise level. However, I would sit with someone else to get a table here! Make reservations!!!
