Had a great experience with our waitress Emma, who was lovely and made sure we enjoyed our meal. Not too loud on a weeknight dinner, nice intimate experience.

Went here for dinner with a friend and we ordered a few dishes to share. The wagyu nigiri, wagyu foie gras nigiri and futo maki were our favourites. We liked the foie gras nigiri enough to order another serve. The assorted skewers and mini wagyu tataki don were okay, but we preferred the other dishes. The food came out pretty quickly and the service was good. The place had a lively atmosphere, although the tables were a little cramped, with not much space between them, which made it a bit less comfortable. Overall, a pretty good dinner and a nice night out.

Food was fast and service was great. I booked in advance and we got seated upstairs which was quieter and lovely as we celebrated our engagement. We also moved the booking a week and it was not a problem

My husband actually had a medical episode last night at this restaurant where an ambulance was called. I can’t express enough how kind, helpful and accommodating the entire staff was. They even broke his fall when he began to fall from the high top table. The men in the kitchen caught my husband and the two beautiful young girls working at the bar helped him get comfortable and were doing everything possible to ensure he was okay. The food was so fresh and the drinks were amazing too (I recommend the fruit flight!.) All the staff in your bar need a raise!!! Excellent, kind hearted and passionate staff!!!

Visited Izakaya Hosuka for lunch the first time and left with the following impression: food (very delicious and fresh) and service were excellent. A small restaurant but cosy, music was loud on arrival but that was attended to. Bill for two on a Sunday was $105. Overall rating 8.5 / 10. We will return.

Our first Tombo Den experience was a delight. The food and ambience was fabulous and matched by the service from our friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Already looking forward to our next visit!
