Best Pizza Bars in Berkeley

Littlestar is the best pizza we know! We cross the bay to get to either Albany or SF. The deep dish, corn meal crust named Littlestar pizza is real food, not some greasy, cheap mozarella cheese atop soggy bread and acidic sauce. The tomato sauce is tasty, just the right balance. There's ricotta and feta cheese under it, and lots of vegetables and roasted garlic embedded in it. Very healthy, real food. The carbonara thin crust is a marvel of a white pizza with bacon, eggs with runny yolks, and scallions. The gluten free crust makes it extra crispy. Best meatballs between here and, maybe, Italy, with just a little char on them -- spicy and tasty, but not too much pepper, and just the right texture. Their salads could be equalled, but not beat. Go.

Corzetti. A excellent Italian restaurant. The food was excellent the chicken piccata, nonnona meatballs,focaccia was delicious. I ordered an espresso martini it was very delicious. Squash ravioli excellent. Dessert was also excellent panna cotta and bundio very tasty. I would visit again. This restaurant reminds of other Italian restaurant in the city have closed. Example Caesar’s and villa de deste which are old school restaurants like Corzetti.

We went here for our daughter’s Sweet 16…AMAZING!!! Our server, Jose, was incredible as was all the food and beverages!! They made our daughter’s mocktails and our birthday girl a special dessert!!! Highly recommend!!

We were celebrating our son's engagement to his sweet girlfriend. We liked that we could make a reservation in advance. The outdoor patio is a pleasant setting, and the food (especially the Genoa sandwich) was excellent and generous. We wished that we had ordered more than one tiramisu because, despite the fact that we had eaten our main courses heartily, we all wanted more.

I love this place, specially to watch sports! They have great drink selection and food is good and service is great!
