Nice lunch with friends in the Crutched Friar. Friendly staff and reasonable beer in a traditional pub. We had the bacon & cheese burger which was well prepared but a little smaller than hoped, but probably reasonable for the city.

Fantastic friendly service, I wish we got the waitresses name but she was so lovely and really looked after us all and even arranged a little bday cake for my sister as we was celebrating her 30th.

We had a lovely experience at this pub! The roast beef was delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming and cosy, and the service was great. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

I booked a table the week before our visit. The upstairs room in the bell is lovely, quiet with Christmas decor and box games to explore. We enjoyed the pie, mash and peas dishes. The barstaff & chef were friendly, carrying our beer upstairs as well. Thank you!
