We had a great time at The George in South Melbourne. We had been recommended by friends who said the Chicken Parma was “the best!” And it was! So was the eggplant parmigiana. Really delicious. Good size portion and really yum. What really impressed us was the Halloumi Saganaki. It was so delicious. We really liked this pub/restaurant. We will be adding this to our regular repertoire.

There was a comedy night scheduled so our seating had changed but staff were very accommodating. Great chats with the owner and staff. Our steak was cooked to perfection. Nice beer on tap. Great night out

The Osborne on Steak night was very good value. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were plentiful. Drinks were a bit expensive but they do have happy hour until 7.00 pm so that’s what we’ll aim for next time. Nice airy place with good service. Looking forward to trying the roof top in summer.
