This is a beautiful restaurant set in a magnificent building. The food is very nice, we each had a starter and a main course. Everything is well presented and very clean. My son is a diagnosed coeliac and there was a bit of an issue with the gluten free beer being labelled as containing gluten but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently and it was found to be a fault with the manufacturer, not the restaurant. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. We were very grateful for that. We look forward to visiting again.

Lovely meal here for early birthday celebrations. Staff couldn’t do enough for us - and even surprised us with cake at the end of the meal! - and the lemon & thyme chicken was delicious. Can also highly recommend the nibbles, especially the black pudding bon bons. Not the cheapest place but the food and service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
