Best Southern American Restaurants in Eatonton

Our dinner at Dovetail was really outstanding! The food and service were exceptional! Our waiter, Caleb, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. His recommendations for food and drink were on point. We started with the house pickles and deviled eggs and both were excellent. We shared the house salad and scallops, and the scallops were cooked perfectly! We also shared the sea bass entrée and it was also cooked to perfection! And whoever made that romesco sauce has got it going on, lol!!! 😋 We highly recommend Dovetail: great food and great service. 👍

It is with much pleasure that I share my dining experience today! The food was delicious, flavorful,and fresh! So many different unique options to choose from. ALLL of them pleasing to the palette. The restaurant’s hospitality team was the epitome of professional and customer care driven. Stephanie and LeeAnn was the best in caring for palettes and ensuring our experience was one to bring us back. The ambiance was welcoming and warm. I always enjoy going to Hendershot’s for a night out. The music was good, the food was from Viva! Argentina Restaurant next door and it was good. The drinks were excellently made by Seth and the service was very good (thanks to Naomi and Josh). Will definitely be back and hoping they fully open soon!
