Great restaurant! The food was amazing! I had the oysters, mac & cheese and the house biscuits! Everything tasted great. Their playlist was top-tier R&B chill vibes. The whole staff was friendly and welcoming. I sat at the bar, the bartender was so kind and very attentive. The restaurant was clean and I will be back next time I’m in San Diego!

We really enjoy coming to Nick's. For lunch and for dinner, equally enjoyable experiences. Service is always great, they go out of their way to accommodate any wish or need. Our reservation was at 8:15 but we got there at 7, and they sat us right away. Food is high quality, everything cooked to perfection and flavor.

The food and presentation was consistent and absolutely delicious. Service staff seemed very rushed - bumped into my table or me at least four times. I had to lean over in my seat to avoid getting bumped by the waitress whenever she walked by. Would return to try other food items on the menu nonetheless.

Lam was an exceptional server. Thoughtful. Attentive to details. Brought our baby a fruit plate, offered to help w our personal high chair, and even looked in our notes on our reservation and sent out a complimentary birthday treat that made our visit special. Very blessed and a great experience!

Exceeded my expectations. As an out of towner it was a gamble going somewhere unknown but based on reviews sounded promising. I was a bit overwhelmed with the downtown parking and luckily found a parking garage close by. So we were a little flustered to say the least! However, the waitstaff turned it all around with attentive service, great drinks, and delicious food. We had the starter trio which I highly recommend! The Chilean Sea Bass was sublime and steaks and lobster cooked to perfection. Our party of 6 was very happy. Thanks Greystone for a memorable evening.

We came to Veranda to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We started with the Parker House Rolls, Squash Blossoms, and Burrata, and every one of them was fantastic. For entrées we had the Citrus Shrimp, the Snapper, and the Short Rib Burger, and all three exceeded our expectations. What truly made the evening memorable, though, was our server, Corey. His suggestions for both the appetizers and entrées were spot-on, and his service was flawless from start to finish: attentive without hovering, and clearly invested in making our anniversary special. He's the reason we'll be back. Thank you, Corey, and thank you, Veranda, for a wonderful night.
